Spawning BRF cakes to coir trays, time scale?

I have 3 300ml BRF cakes which I want to spawn to 3 1l plastic tubs (so roughly a 1:2 ratio)
After grating them and mixing with the pasteurized coir/verm mix, how long should each tub take to fully colonize?
And after full colonization how long can I leave them to consolidate before they require fruiting conditions to they don't start fruiting in-vitro?
Thanks

You can pause fruiting by putting the trays in black plastic bags in the fridge for weeks without any issues. If you need to delay fruiting.

However long it takes...usually less than 2 weeks.....should really take no more than 10 days.

Bulk does not require a consolidation period....fruit it when fully colonized.

Why wouldn't a clear bag work?
And why would you want to delay fruiting?

Thanks for the advice, didn't realize it would be that quick
I ask as I'm away for 4 days during Christmas and am wondering whether to spawn my fully colonized jars to bulk now as I may risk being away when they are fruiting
Will 4 days make too much of a difference if left in an automated humidifier setup?
And should I let my cakes consolidate before grating, and should trays be cased I'm hearing mixed reviews?

You should be able to spawn to bulk now and get a full flush before christmas.....

Depends on the fruiting chamber you choose.
You only need a humidifier for a greenhouse setup....DO NOT have a humidifier pumped into a SGFC or a monotub...that is just asking for trouble as these setups are already keep the humidity high enough on their own.

No need to let spawn consolidate, whether cakes or grains.
And if you are growing cubes a casing layer is not needed....but it helps to reduce blobs for PE.
