adding dry sawdust to wet substrate.

Hey guys. So 3 weeks ago I made up some hardwood substrate from pellets and it colonized some but it became clear to me that i made a mistake and made it too wet, it really slowed down colonizing and some really wet areas just didnt colonize at all.
I was wondering if I were to sterilize some sawdust really on the dry side and add it to that bag and mix it up really good in order for it to suck up a lot of the moisture, would I be able to save  my grow?

Possibly.
Problem with too much moisture is it tends to make the sub anaerobic.  Some bacteria love that.

At this point though, I don't think you have much to lose.

yeah i was thinking that too. I gave it the smell test and It didnt give off any kind of odor so I'm pretty confident that it isnt contaminated. Well, im hoping.
yeah you are right about me having nothing to lose.
