Happy Thanksgiving?
    #19181764 - 11/24/13 08:43 AM (10 years, 2 months ago)

:braindamage:  How many here crave that turkey dinner?  How many are afraid to eat turkey any other time of the year outside of the hollidaze?

You people make me want to puke my guts out!

Just kidding about the last sentence but I so love to say that to people with feeling.

I only observe two holidays: new years and 'no-thanks day'.

Celebrating "thanks" "giving" is glorifying genocide and the exploitation of indigenous people, the robbing of their land, breaking of treaties, etc etc.

I observe 'no-thanks day' (which is Friday) by doing drugs and trying to forget everything.

Not just yet, but my aim is getting pretty deadly. I have been practicing for it, however, on babies and senior citizens. Maybe I will be able to kill one for my little grandson on Easter morning.

It's a dying art in much of the Amazon.  Now they want shotguns and who can blame them when they are hungry now and game is scarce.

I think we should give them nuclear weapons to hunt with and then they can skip forward to using Walmart for their hunting like most tribes do these days. The blowgun is the easiest instinctive weapon to master, and the Cold Steel .63 caliber blowguns punch hard.

I'm just here for the stuffing.  Turkey is overrated; I wish duck had made more of an impression on the original Pilgrims.

I was going to say you guys have some pretty strange holidays over there in the U.S.A like thanks giving and Halloween, so do we though the Queens birthday wtf is that shit or Anzac day which is like a memorial for the the Australian soldiers who died in Galipoli.

The biggest novice wartime strategy backfire ever sending a bunch of guys at a terrain disadvantage against people who where there waiting for them as they were shot down without a fair fighting chance. Why do we remember this shit like its meant to have some sentiment like someone was a hero there? if your going to remember anything its that a bunch of guys entrusted their lives to higher authority and ended up falling victims to a well planned ambush.

For the most part Holidays are bullshit IMO , i mean there good in the sense that if you have a job maybe you can get some time off or whatnot but they way these holidays get pushed out to the general public and amongst ourselves I honestly think its more of a business venture than anything else, people start going nuts this time of the year and buying a whole heap of shit.

Fuck dude that trumps Festivus (the holiday for the rest of us).  I'm going to start celebrating with you.  What are some more of the rituals?

Can I join you guys in celebration, i can bring a pole if necessary.
