Gymn.?? ID please

Habitat: At the base of a dead tree, growing in clusters.
Gills: Bright yellow,subdecurrent, bruise a rusty color
Stem: Narrow at base
Cap: Convex, yellowish orange.
Spore print color: didn't come out Very important!
Bruising: A rusty color in the gills

Not sure if those are gymns... any prints you could take a picture of?

They appear to be Gymnopilus luteofolius or something similar, but I cannot actually confirm that they are jilms without a spore print.

where are you located? what kind of tree was it? are the stems firm or hollow? what do they taste like?

Bloodworm: H-Texas , oak tree, some are hollow due to some kind of trippy maggot, there are firm ones too. Taste really bitter scared to eat to much.. Hahah thx for the reply

Excellent. I wonder how often these get passed off for G. luteus? I'll have to keep my eyes peeled...
