congrats! tattered should be fine, black & rotting, not so much. if they're still brown, just get 'em drying, eat 'em or make tea ASAP. and don't ever keep 'em in plastic if you can avoid it.

Hello friend. Yes I paper bagged them upon pick up. What kind of black are you refering to? I can't tell the difference between bruising and bblack. I have yet to dry them out. Thanks everyone!

he means black as in obvious decay, signs of rot, most of the time they'll be fully mature when they go to rot. they also wont be as tough as other fruits and what i mean by that is they fall apart easy compared to fresh fruits, which are pretty tough.

Please help me positively ID them and also I have one question that I'm not to sure about after researching.
Is it okay to eat the ones that look really tattered up; almost like they were being eaten or are rotting? Thank you guys have a lovely rest of the season as frost is starting to become more frequent.

Looks good to me, but I'd wait for a TI!
Are you gonna use those stem butts? I want 'em!
Nice find!

Im not a trusted identifier, but in my opinion they are beautiful specimens, all Psilocybe cyanescens.

You're gonna fuckin love em, man. I'm a very experienced shroomer (12+ years), and I only recently started eating cyans....and WOW. The potency is just ridiculous, in a great way.
Last night, I decided to go to the Skerik show in Seattle, so I ate 2 TINY LITTLE CYANS just to spice up the experience a bit...they got me high, for sure!!! Very mild visuals, but high as balls. If I had eaten the same amount of cubensis, I wouldn't have felt a thing.
To sum it up: Cyans are the way to go. My favorite Psilocybe, for sure...I've tried many different cubensis, including APE, and Cyans still top the list. Have fun!

That is really good to hear jof. Hopefully my experience is similar my friend is cultivating some penis envy, B+, and some other hybrid. So hopefully I will get to experience the spectrum of cyans before the new year hits =D can't wait to eat these babies. And for the sake of saving an extra post thank you very much Lhun for your trusted input. One step closer to being able to confidently id cyans myself. I Hope to pick up some books very soon!!!!
Edit : hmm I guess penis envy is a hybrin of cubensis.. nevermind lol! Yes , I still hope to try them as a gift

Honestly I prefer cyans to azzies, they make me giggle more! I use azzies to dig deep and rearrange stuff in my head. I find them to be a much better tool for that.
Egyption, penis envy is a pure cube.

Hey its my girlfriends birthday tomorrow and we are gonna eat some dry Ps. stuntzii. I was wondering if the dosage calculator is correct or if the dose is lower. I feel like I have read that they were pretty potent from some people on here, and they are said to be stronger than cubes some places, and stronger than P. cinctulus some places too, but not on this website. Thanks for the help.

I ate about 1.5 - 2 dry grams and had a wonderful time. Maybe it was an abnormally potent collection? But I doubt it.

I've had varying results with stuntzii. I've eaten tons with little to no effect, then gave my girlfriend three larger more mature ones and came home to her hiding under her sheets and giggling beyond words.
Man I'm bummed. My stuntzii patch got turned into a parking garage this year
