Mushroom Tea, for multiple people

Hello, Shroomery, first time posting here though I've been a lurker for quite some time. I really hope I don't burden any of you with some simple questions about creating tea. I've done much research into it but I could really use some personal (from me to you) kind of information, hope you don't mind.
Well this thanksgiving (rather black friday) I'll be taking shrooms with my girlfriend and her sister, but this time I wanted to make tea, and since that decision they're both also wanting to do the same. So the basic questions; would it be smart to throw all our mushrooms into one simmering pot and then strain it into 3 separate cups, rather than putting our doses through the process 3 separate times? My concern is that we're all going to be going in at different dosages, me at 2.5g, my girlfriend at 2g, and her sister also at 2g, so would filling my cup a bit more than their equal cups work out?
And just so I know I have the correct process down...
1. Boil water then set at a simmer 2. Throw mushies into water for 15 minutes 3. Strain into cups with tea bags of our choosing 4. Discard the rest
Is this correct? Or is it best to not put the shrooms into the simmering water, and to just put them in a separate cup and then pour the hot water over them?
Again, sorry to be a bother since I'm a first time poster, I just want to get the variables right. I'm that type that feels if I half ass this then I'll feel an uneasiness before the trip so your help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

The way i make tea is to bring water (only need enough to submerge the mush) to a light boil and turn it way down. Sometimes below a simmer.
I add a little bit of lemon juice, to help suck out all the active ingredient. I use one of the lemon shaped plastic containers of lemon juice. I usually squirt it for 2-3 seconds. Just enough to help it leech into the water, but not enough to be lemon tek'ing everything and have it hit fast and be much shorter.
I also usually add some honey in to help with the taste. Then whatever flavor/tea packets I like.
Let it sit for 15 min or so.
Strain into large container. Figure out the grams of mush per ounce of water. And divide the doses out accordingly. I only ever use fresh mushrooms anymore, so for ones that are dry be sure to use a small strainer and squeeze all the absorbed water out.
I also tend to use about 20-25% more mushrooms then what people actually want to dose, just to help with some water being left behind in tea packets or fruit bodies

It is also easy to adjust doses if someone wants to take more or less.
Really though, once you meek your tea, you can add extra shroomless tea, so you can get it to a size that is easier to measure/divide... Like say, 10 cups for 2-5 people. Easier to measure when it is divisible by ten. Also, the more liquid you have, the easier it is to keep individual doses accurate. Then when you have everybody's dose, if they are different, you can tape their names on each container then add even more shroomless tea, so everybody gets to drink the same amount, even if their doses differ.
I have been known to put tea in individual Snapple tea bottles for my friends, then we can dose in outdoor spaces without causing suspicion if anybody wanders by.

I don't plan on adding lemon to this batch, I'm really curious how productive this process is, just water. Though I do plan on adding tea bags, but that's one other concern - Chuck, you mentioned adding a bit more mushrooms on account of water absorption, is it a significant difference? What are other ways to mask the natural taste significantly?
I might just stick to tea bags regardless, but that's completely free option, right? Any tea will work, just go by preference? Aaand, another thing..is it best to simmer the tea in the water with the mushrooms and just strain it into a cup? Or to just simmer the mushrooms and strain it into a cup and then add the tea bag like you normally would a cup o' tea.
@Cervantes
Ten cups seems a bit much, is that also just preference? I can understand it makes it easier to divide but I don't really want to have a big cup of it. I was thinking of just about 2 cups per person. With that said, I also plan on just drinking about half of the cup in 10 minutes, then save the other half for later. I've heard mixed things about doing it, in many different variations.
By the way guys, really appreciate the advice. Helping me very much.

Ime, with tea, whatever you drink in the first 30ish minutes is the kind of trip you'll get. but then again Ive never had anything happen from re dosing besides getting my stomach sick
If not using lemon, be sure to soak the mushrooms for at minimum 15 minutes, to be sure you're leeching everything out. I notice a very large difference between lemon and no lemon, and even when I use a bit too much lemon my trips still last 6 or 7 hours
I also like to add a touch of ginger to help with my stomach. I like to use the tube of pre-puree'd ginger, very easy to only squeeze a little bit out. Pretty much everything I do is to minimize stomach discomfort. I puke every single time I trip, even after an easy 250+ mushroom trips in my growing days
As for the water absorption its not a huge difference. If I want to eat 4g, I usually put 5g into the water. I also only use fresh mushrooms. Dry ones will absorb more water, so keep that in mind. For fresh ones I figure they're 90% water, so for a 4g dose I add 40g+extra of fresh. I have a strainer set aside just for shrooms, so that I can mash the hell out of them and get as much water out as i can.
As for the flavor of tea just use whatever you like or have on hand. For a while I would use raspberry tea, get it as concentrated as I could, then add my dose to a bottle of lipton raspberry iced tea. Works well and is very portable. The last few times I used lemon tea cause thats what I had.
I also like to only use stems for myself. The ink that the spores make in tea grosses me out

The taste isn't too bad. Honey would make it more palatable. Adding the acid (citric acid in the case of lemon) is probably worth the effort to insure maximum solubility of any alkaloids originally in freebase form. Honey, lemon, and mushroom is my number one choice for taste too.
