Coffee addiction

I have a cup and a half of strong coffee every morning with breakfast and then another cup a few hours later around 10:30. I feel like a drug addict because I'm always making sure we have enough and I never miss a day. Sometimes I get big time headaches if I miss my morning cups. Should I be worried? Is there any long term side effects of coffee abuse? How come guys are so quick to buy a girl a alcoholic drink but not a cup of coffee. Its much cheaper

Guys buy girls alcoholic drinks to get them drunk, subsequently getting in there pants. We only buy a girl we have already slept with a coffee

Caffeine is a pretty addictive substance. You probably won't be in the fetal position in tears if you quit but it's really a bitch to stop if you've been ingesting large amounts for a while.
I'm (trying) to quit caffeine from about 500mg-1000mg a day habit and it's not too fun. Headaches, and lack of motivation mainly.

The worst long term effect will probably be on your teeth depending on what all you put in the coffee and such

It was hard for me to quit coffee - I used it extensively in school but I didn't like the side effects. Headaches and lack of motivation for a few weeks were the norm. Not fun at all. That being said a few years later and I am happy not needing to have a cup of coffee in the morning. I will still have a cup of coffee as a treat now and then but I don't need one.

I like coffee, maybe a cup or two a day.
I see nothing wrong with it. Maybe some headaches and slight withdrawal now and then without it but nothing major.

Yup, that's how I use the caffeine, more of an occasional treat. I think I remember reading how you build up a caffeine tolerance then pretty soon you need caffeine to just feel normal. So after time you need coffee to feel the same or even worse than you did before you started drinking the stuff.
Coffee tastes so good though. Luckily two cups make me feel horrible, to much caffeine, so I rarely go there. I did find some STASH tea that is a white peach wuyi oolong tea that is nice and subtle.

You you do build up caffeine tolerance - I would need coffee in the morning to be awake. Once I awoke in the morning I would be thinking "coffee coffee coffee" and feel out of sorts until I had some. But the side effects suck, plus I was needing coffee in the late afternoon / evening or I would get headaches.
I do love the taste of coffee - I usually get half decaf though so it doesn't make me jittery now. The flavored coffees are the best.
