Cleaning various tools after using them !
    #19178420 - 11/23/13 10:39 AM (10 years, 2 months ago)

Hello !

I apologize in advance if this has been answered already, but I have a simple practical question regarding cleaning various glass / tools after using them :

What do you do with erlenmeyer / tubes / needles and various reusable items after a manipulation ? Do you pressure cook them right away ? I was hopping to be able to stack my dirty used tools until I need them again and pressure cook them at this moment.

Or do you pre clean them quickly as soon as your done ? What's your technique for cleaning tools after using them is my basic question I guess !

On the same topic, I would like to know people's opinion on reusing plastic syringes and needles that are designed for "one use only" does anyone clean and pressure cook them several times with success ? I'm hopping a needle that has been cleaned / pressure cooked / flame sterelized can be use more than once ?

Thank you for the knowledge in advance !

One last question to make the clean freak go insane : None pressure cooker petri dishes really can't be used more than once ? Not even after putting them in the dishwasher, then dipping them in a solution of bleech / vinegar / cleaning them with a nice 70 degrees alcohol piece of cloth or something ? O:)
