HELP ME AND MY BABIES

For the record, first-time grower Well, the story is that in the beggining of September(wow,2months) I inoculated 3 jars with Ecuador spores. Everything went fine, I cased 2 of them. Everything happened very slowly - I put them in the terrarium in the beggining of November. After they almost completely spawned the casing I put them in a terrarium with a layer of Perlite at the bottom.
One day I notices small bubbles on them which wont go away. I fan them 3 times a day and nothing changes, they look like they're giving up and they haven't even started fruiting yet. Please, help.
I gave them so much love, I actually started sensing a mother-child relationship, and I have no idea where things could've gone wrong. And what's with the f-ing bubbles?
Sincerely confused, thanks in advance

A picture of the bubbles might help but my guess is that it's mycelium starting to develop again.
Are the bubbles on the new casing layer or spawn?

Pictures worth a thousand words... Make sure to remove EXIF info from your pics and upload them here... Then add to your post, and a pro here will spot the issue right away I'm sure.
Especially if it's your first grow.... I was in your seat not too long ago and taking pics is really what allowed me to get the advice I needed.

Good job on the pics... Wait for an experienced grower to confirm but for now....
Fan fan fan fan fan
And my guess (i really hope I'm wrong) This is what a verm casing looks like from close: (IME)

The white on your casing is not like the hyphal strands you see on my picture. The strands are much much thinner... And it shouldn't overlay your verm like that...
So for you I hope I'm wrong... Newb guess: cobweb mold? Please let me be wrong
I see no knots, strands, pins... Maybe you have very cottony mycelium
.... Waiting for a non newb ..... someone please help the babies
Good luck!

Some times water droplets form on mycelium. You say you introduced it to fruiting conditions at the start if November? Either you don't have the proper conditions for fruiting or you have a contaminant masquerading as a mushroom. Depending on the size of the holes it might not be getting enough fresh air. Evaporation is an important pinning trigger and you wont get mushrooms without pins. 4 holes may not be enough.

There hasn't been any progress for the last few weeks. What would you do?

Yea probably just too much moisture on your cakes. This doesn't look like a contamination to me . It was very cool to look at and nice pics btw
-you'll know for sure in time

I would put more holes in your terrarium, try to get more air exchange. If it doesn't pin within a week of changing conditions you may have a contamination and should probably start over.

Ok... A few weeks? What do you mean by casing them? You added a verm casing layer? How thick of a layer? What do you mean by "terrarium"? Sgfc?
When you said "a few weeks" ... Is it just me or is this odd?

I say contam. If the bubbles are filled with air and are poppable, that suggests bacterial infection. Smell it. If it smells funky, there's no saving it. Cobweb mold looks like fur. You could also post this over in the contam forum and see if they can help you out.

this one is tricky but im going to go with the dissertation that you've got mold growing there.
how did you inoculate your jars? was it in the open air? describe your sterile technique.

I think mold would have showed its fuck face by now, check your temps and make sure you have some evaporation happening(don't water log it) just be sure the moisture from your last mist has evaporated before misting again

It doesn't matter what i think of you...all that matters is clean spawn I'm tired do me a favor

Im sorry but you have a bacterial contamination. Let me rephrase that, you more than likely have a bacterial contamination.

Bacterial contamination is usually caused by insufficient sterilization of the substrate before inoculation, particularly when the moisture content is too high, and will generally prevent colonization if it is present. It happens mostly with grain. It will sometimes happen after colonization, but not usually. What tek did you use?
