I hate hate hate the taste and texture of mushrooms. Especially dried ones. Try chocolate to hide the taste.
Puking from mushrooms is also a guarantee for me. Fresh, dry, tea, chocolate, capsules, doesn't matter. I've been growing mushrooms for the past 4 years, I must have eaten them easily over 250+ times in my heavy tripping days. IDK what it is about me but I always, without fail, puke every single time I trip. Even the really light ones.
I usually feel better after I puke, but the first hour or so I always feel sick and its turned me off of tripping for the past year and a half lol.

I love the taste of edible mushrooms, but HATE cubensis. What I do is ground the mushrooms into powder, melt some chocolate in a double boiler, take it of the heat and mix in shrooms, place in mold or ice cube tray and cool in fridge. No taste whatsoever

For low doses it really helps to be outside to notice the visuals. My first trip ever I thought I wasn't experiencing almost none at all and then I went outside and was in wonderland. The blandness of walls and stuff isn't too much for your mind to play with.
Also with more experience I think you'll realize you're actually having visuals even when they're very slight. Sometimes it's not exactly about things moving and morphing but just a different kind of clarity in your vision.

I have definitely experienced both of these! My boyfriend and I took a walk outside on 2g of cubies, and it was a beautiful walk with colorful trees and a wonderful sky.
I have also had an experience with not noticing visuals. I have had a few times that on LSD, I felt like I was tripping balls, but the visuals were not obvious. I find that on a windy day, or in a concert atmosphere, it is harder to notice visuals because everything around me is already moving; The people dancing, the clouds moving, and the trees blowing all just blend in with the morphing and visual distortions!
