Seasonal Itch
    #19176458 - 11/22/13 08:38 PM (10 years, 2 months ago)

My first post on the shroomery. In high school I got high. This one smoking session with friends has stuck with me through the years. After school we plied into a car and started smoking. The driver started giving me lip for my eyes being red. Then the brother next to me said loud enough for everyone to hear "don't worry it's just the seasonal itch." That quote is what has stuck with me.

Now playing video games online someone was being "annoying", i guess, and wanting to chat about music and bands. I joined and others followed suit. Needless to say most others wanted nothing of it and mentioned season of the itch to us conversing folks. My hunch is that it's telling someone they are being annoying like a bug bite. Then the seasonal part would suggest that the person isn't always annoying, just at that moment. I've never had it explained and the internet itch inflicter told us to google it.

So I've had it up to here. I have to get to the bottom of this itch. I can go on my marry way after solving this language mirage of mine. Please answer if you have the original meaning of this sly remark. Don't respond if you donnot, because I'll then come on your house to piss in your pot, so to speak.

No, that's fine. Your entitled to your opinion, but do you know what seasonal itch means?
