That third picture is gorgeous! Such a nice color!
Edit: What type of cactus is that anyway? I'd love to buy one for my collection!

It's an Azureocereus hertlingianusand you can find it quite frequently in flower shops, supermarkets, garden centers, etc. It really is beautiful, but that's usually true of most cacti if you give them time to show their best.
And yours' look great, Joe.

Lookin good. I gotta put some pics up of my collection. Most of mine are in pots, only one in the ground so far. I've got plans to ground plant a couple more choice specimens in the spring though, once they've rooted out some more.

Here's another of the blue one.

LearningSponge, that one that you are talking about is trichocereus thelegonus.

I started collecting in 2008, but none of them are from seed. Many are cuttings from mother plants in my yard. Bridgesii in particular gets about four or five feet tall and then flops over when it gets chilly outside. A few months ago I ordered 60 small black containers and I've already filled them up with various propagated cuttings. Just this morning I had two bridgesii fall over and it resulted in over six feet of new cuttings. I have to order more pots again. WTF am I going to do with all this shit? I never even trip anymore. Like everything else in my life, it's absurd. I went overboard with this hobby and they should feature me on some obsessive-compulsive show so I can let the world know that mescaline turns screwballs even screwier.

I'm paranoid with that shit, selling or mailing or giving away. Some dopey kid whose parent is politically connected will trip out, walk into traffic and kill himself, and then I'll get into a mess of legal trouble. Yeah, it's legal and all but I ain't interested in complicating my life for a few bucks. Besides, my motto is Just Say No to Drugs.

I keep coming back to admire your plants. That crest is lovely, reminds me of the fractal images that were so popular a few years ago. And that T. thelegonus is lovely, too (as the T. spachianus - if that's what it is - behind it). Those are my kind of Trichocerei rather than pedros and those colossal T. terschekii and their kin.

The third photo is amazing. I also cultivate HB Morning Glories for the sake of it, I only ate the seeds one time about three years ago and I'll surely never do that shit again but it's still nice to grow some very beautiful flowers.
