My telephonic devices

Kids these days with their fancy schmancy awkward bigass high dollar phones that break if you sneeze at them hard . I need a cellular telephone to text and make calls with. Maybe a pic in a pinch but i'd rather use a camera for that. If i want to go online i use a computer.
I just bought my 4th cell phone in the years since i've been using them(over a decade). I still have all 4 and they all work although the red razr pictured has issues which prompted my recent purchase. To say that the green screen VX3100s served me well would be a major understatement I replaced the second one with my first razr in September 2011! Their only issue was cracking under the flip pivot, but they were very reliable phones. The RAZRs(both v3m models) are a much classier design and have a picture function. The red one in an '06 and the silver an '07.
Y'all can have your ugly, bulky, pocket-dialing touchscreen trash and play with it all day. As long as i can still get oldschool flips you now what i'm using.

What are you talking about? It's virtually impossible to pocket-dial with a touch screen. They are capacitive and only react to certain compounds like human skin, not to mention that they have a lock screen.

My phone has a lock screen, a standby button and a touch screen.
There have been times when I take it out of my pocket to discover that not only has it unlocked itself, but it has navigated its way several steps into the menus.
I've pocket dialed and pocket texted.
I can slide a car key or a coin across my touchscreen. It works as well as my fingers.
I just tried it with a plastic cap on a Sharpie. It works as well as my fingers.
A credit card or drivers license works.

I've never pocket dialed anyone in my life with these phones. Yet i've received numerous from these newfangled smartphones that are supposedly impossible to pocket-dial. I'll take my phones stupid please.

My partners LG smartphone pocket dials all the time. I have never had my iPhone pocket dial.

What the hell kind of smartphone do you own? None of those objects should register on a capacitive screen.
I don't understand how someone can "slide to unlock" a phone, enter a 4 digit number, then enter a menu, then call someone. It's never happened to me in my life.
I'm so glad I no longer use a flip. I imagine it's how people felt when they switched from stone tablets to paper.

Lol @ OP.
Op doesnt know they make flip, or slide out pocket phones.
And if you people are pocket dialing, put an actual lock on the lock screen, It'd be hard for your pocket to put in a pattern code or number code.
@badchad, some new ultra capacitive touch screens designed to register with a gloved hand, will work with other objects. Also, I believe resistive touch screens will work with other objects as well.

Resistive touch screens would work but AFAIK there have not been any resistive touch screens in a smartphone since like 2008.
