Monotub to fruit or to not to fruit

I'm leaving for 5 days to go back and see my family for Thanksgiving. I have two monotubs ready to fruit should i just fruit them and dial them in correctly using loose polyfill at the top or should i just let them colonize a little bit more for a bit? i don't have an oscillating fan, but i do have a heater that has a fan setting that i could leave on that pumps air directly thru the vent in my room.

if your leaving for five days ….the least amount of maintenance would be to let them colo in the mono tub and WAIT to fruit. YOur not having another human fruit for you for these five days which means you need to wait till you get back. a fresh fruiting tub will not need a bunch of attention but it would sure as hell need more than nothing. with all the time it takes to get that mono all nice and colo and ready to go…..man , unless someone else sees a real threat to 5 extra days of colo nization… i say wait. i'm friggin rambling .

My tubs can usually be left unattended for days before they need a fanning. I haven't had to mist in years.
I remember having tubs that either needed daily fanning or misting, but Ive got my tubs much more dialed in now then i did before

I fan my tubs when I tear the tape off, stuff the bottom holes tight and the top holes very loose, and run a fan on medium pointed near but not directly at the tubs. I haven't had to mist or fan a tub on the first flush in a very long time

Just let some light come in through a window and you will be fine.
Otherwise just buy a damn timer
