i was a vegan for about 5 years in the 90's and never even tried tofurkey, just sounds disgusting. real turkey sucked ass too though as i remember. smoked salmon though? that's where it's at. i want to have a massive salmon feast this year celebrate and give thanks for our(as a human race) so far best case scenario in japan removing the first fuel rod assemblies. we need a lot more divine optimism but a good start is a good place to start...

Is Aaron Rodgers scheduled to return for that one? Right now without him the Packers look horrendous.

I have no idea.. I haven't been paying any attention really. I usually just watch the games if I have nothing better to do.. or Thanksgiving because its pretty much tradition.
They definitely have been doing semi decent so there is certainly a possibility of not losing.

Yeah right now they actually have a one game lead on Green Bay and are in first in the division (due to a tiebreaker). Although if Rodgers comes back soon that stay in first place for Detroit will probably be short lived.

I think I've only watched one or two of their games this season but that game with Chicago was great. They fucked up a bunch like normal but Bush was running like a mad man and over all I was happy with the way they were playing.

I have a few friends who's entire families are vegetarian, I'll have to ask them. I don't think they do tofurkey, though.
My family is going out to some fancy dinner pretty early in the afternoon, and the I have a couple of other parties/dinners to try and show up to later on.
Never even realized there was a big football game on thanksgiving O____O.

Yeah they were balling that game. They've played well for the most part this season, but still have had their typical find a way to lose games (as usual). 3 of their 4 losses this season could have easily been victories. Late 4th quarter losses to Arizona, Cincy, and Pitt. They're so incredibly frustrating. Just when you think they're actually about to turn the corner, they end up blowing a game in typical Lions fashion. It's tough being a Lions fan.

Certain parts of the turkey can be delish but yeah, the majority of the turkey is worthless to me. Dry, tasteless chicken meat.

My family doesn't really like turkey, we used to do it but not anymore. Normally we do more than one protein and mix it up a bit: ham, beef roast, venison, fish, lamb, etc. I'd like to try frying a turkey and seeing if that is any better.

Wild turkey deep friend in peanut oil. Im talking the whole turkey all at once.
Why does it taste so good?!
I hate farm raised turkey, tastes like shit. Wild gobblers are obnoxiously delicious though.

Im serious dude, you want your oil between 350-375 degrees, in a big fryer. The ones you gotta use outside and need a propane tank for. Juciest, most tasty turkey ever. Has to be wild turkey and has to be peanut oil.
