The prime Grilled Cheese sandwiches
    #1917196 - 09/15/03 02:21 AM (14 years, 13 days ago)

I have been interested in the culinary arts for some time now. I began my studies at the tender age of 9 after my father was voted "Chef d'excellence," in the traditional Culinary Festival of Quebec, 1969. The same can be said for my father before him. After giving the subject much deep thought and attention, I feel that I have come to understand the essence of the munchie.

I have found that happiness, as it is found in many forms of art, is associated with certain human characteristics. These characteristics are not understood fully by scientists, but within the broad field of culinary creativity, they have been achieved via grilled cheese sandwich.

For your bread selection, you will aquire some challa. I think that's how its spelled. It's a traditionally jewish bread that's actually braided. Yah that's right - like what you do with hair. mmmmmm. Use monterey jack cheese. Remember, its all about timing. I won't get into equations. It takes some effort and some trial and error to get it just right. You will have to experiment with your specific stove. Any household stove should do the trick. make sure to put some olive oil, or peanut oil in the pan you're using.
Smoke a joint if you swing that way. And just remember - Its not a race.

Grilled cheese not only goes back generations, it crosses cultures.

Even the native americans used to grill up a dish known as "arkamutukar" that consisted of a crude corn-based flatbread surrounding the curds from breast milk.

It's believed the Irish were the first to dip it in ketchup.

Very interesting. There was actually a book writen in the late 1700s documenting the step by step process of the production of the early grilled cheese sandwich. The book was recently uncovered by a team of archiologists in Northern Europe looking to study the mental and physical effects of cannabis.

Not only did the archiologists find that the people consumed more of their edible environment, but they found that the people had reached a state of nirvana similar to that of the effects of cocaine. This inherently was a leading factor in the comencement of the industrial revolution.
