If you could do Michigan or Wisconsin you could do OSU. Columbus isn't even really a rust belt city.
Penn State though, fuck that. Happy Valley my ass.

Rust belt isn’t really my thing, since you guys are from there its obviously different. That region has literally none of the things i like. I Could do Northwestern, Penn St, Michigan, and Wisconsin. Thats it outta the big 10.
I would go to any pac 12 school in a heartbeat. Maybe not wazu people tell me its badass, but i find that hard to believe.
Those were basically my 2 turnoffs from OSU.. The fact that I lived the past 18 years in Columbus and wanted to go to a school out of Ohio and the fact that I was a diehard Michigan fan.. Now that I havent lived in Ohio in 8 years I have actually warmed up to the Buckeyes and only root against them when they play against Michigan
Notre Dame just didnt catch my interest. I went to a catholic high school where A LOT of the kids went to Notre Dame, probably 20-30% of the graduating class and just wanted to go out West and have a complete change of scenary
ASU would have been great if I had my priorities right and wasnt partying soo much. Was a very cool school with a great party scene

I bet OSU gets down pretty hard too.
I would like to go to a legit party school but part of me knows i wouldn’t be able to cut it there. Im just not mature enough at this point to keep my head in the right place, and the point of college is to graduate and hopefully get a job. Getting drunk and chasing tail is just a pleasant side effect not the main reason of being there.
Notre Dame would be fucking awesome because its so small but yet so prestigious. If you graduated from there with a business degree and a decent GPA, hello 6 figure job at goldman sachs.

What the hell happened to that program, and the big 10?
It's impossible to defend Michigan anymore.
On our way to the Alaska McDonald's BBQ Sauce Bowl this year. Can't wait!!!

Hey at least you’re going to a bowl
With the players they get they should be contending for title more often than not.

Michigan's new slogan:
"MICHIGAN. WHERE 5 STAR RECRUITS COME TO BATTLE IT OUT WITH IOWA AND PURDUE FOR MIDDLE OF THE PACK BIG TEN SUPERIORITY".
It's catchy. I like it!

Yeah I have been pretty disappointed for the past years.. I absolutely hate Devan Gardner. He thinks he is Denard Robinson but he isnt fast and he is a par passer. Michigan needs to get back to having a pro-style QB

The sad thing is the guys on michigans bench would more than likely start at most major college programs.

Somehow, unbelievably, they were in the running for the #1 overall recruit in the country -- the DE that Bama got (Deshawn Hand or whatever). In fact he was long considered a "heavy Michigan lean". Most recruiting guys had him going to Michigan.
Now he could have been blowing smoke the whole time and knew he was going to Bama, or maybe he was a serious Michigan lean...until he saw them going life & death with fucking Akron & UConn (lololol) and then getting smashed by Michigan State and then following that up with a home loss to a really mediocre Nebraska team. Anyway, why the fuck he was seriously considering Michigan, I have no fucking idea.
I mean Bama or Michigan...
"Lets see here...I can go to SEC title games year in and year out, contend for national championships every year and play for one of the best college coaches of all-time...or I can go play in the shitty fucking Big Ten and play for Brady Hoke, get smashed annually by Michigan State & Ohio State and compete with Nebraska, Penn State, and Northwestern for best middle of the pack Big Ten team. Yeah that's a tough one!"

Jewunit, how are you feeling about OSU's chances as far as making it into the BCS title game goes?

Not good but possible. It will require at least FSU or Bama losing, and even then it's more likely than not that if Baylor wins out Ohio State won't be able to jump them again in the BCS. Currently we're ahead of Baylor, but it's by a small margin and they will jump us if they beat OK St.
At this point I just want to go undefeated again, win the Rose Bowl, and then bitch about going undefeated for two consecutive seasons and not having a chance to play for the title game. Along the way the likes of elax and many others will say how garbage Ohio State is and how they didn't deserve it anyway. This is how it goes. Being an Ohio State fan gets pretty fucking boring after awhile

If they can find a way in I'd pull for them. Shit if they were able to get in and pull it off it would at least help the image of the Big Ten. Still wouldn't make up up for the vast sea of mediocre crap most of the rest of the conference puts out there on a weekly basis...but still. Y'all are the only ones of national relevance in the BT (and have been for a while actually). I guess this season MSU with that outstanding defense of theirs can maybe get into a BCS bowl game, though.

They're a good team. Well obviously. Are they on an Alabama level or Florida State level? Nobody knows because they get penalized for the shitty conference they're in, and rarely get tested because of it. It's really unfortunate for them that the conference as a whole isn't better.

The Big Ten sucking is an incredibly recent occurrence really. Or at least a recent realization. In fact part of the reason it has this perception is because of Ohio State getting stomped two years in a row in the national championship. We were the start of this SEC lock that's going on (and we were quite possibly a 3 point home loss against Texas from going the year before when Texas won).
I'm assuming Nebraska and Michigan, or at the very least Michigan, will be able to turn their shit around eventually and one or two other random programs will be able to field decent teams in any given year.
