My scenario:
Everyone in the planet participates in one massive orgy-
then everyone prepares as everyone will cum at the same time-
then we all drown in a huge ocean of jizz
nasty or sexy?- you decide

An alien visitation would be cool. They approach peaceful-like, offering us a wealth of knowledge, and explain the deep mysteries, solving all existential dilemmas and putting us in our place among the galaxy's low-intelligence inhabitants. In a few months, religious institutions are dissolved and the economy stalls as few feel the need to work any longer. The aliens are providing us with sustenance now.

In time they explain the one answer that had been withheld: the reason for their arrival. They want the earth, it's richness being rare among the planets. They want only to walk in our forests and enjoy a sunset peacefully. They will preserve the world's diversity and appreciate it as humans never could. They admit they've only tolerated us thus far, and would prefer we not be around, disturbing their eden. We are offered the opportunity to have our consciousness permanently transferred to a perfect simulation simply by stepping into one of the many upload booths around the world. And why wouldn't we believe them?

The humans walk blissfully to their doom err, new dominion in the promised land. All but a few, as the aliens still want a small sample of human diversity too. Selected are I and a group of my choosing, and we are allowed to persist in a 'human nature reserve' on what is currently vancouver island.  Together we play until the fun fades away, then step into the portal of doom yay.

I think it'd be kind neat if some wacky religion turned out to be right.  Like say xenu appeared and killed everyone who hadn't cleared their body thetans- that would be some good times.  It'd be interesting to see how the muslims, christians, and everybody else dealt with it.

We destroy the planet and die off over the next 1,000 years or less. Odds 1 in 2.

we invent a way to induce fusion..induce it and accidentally destroy the entire planet and all life on it while birthing a star.

Not possible. There is a minimum mass required for a star to form, about 23,850 earth masses for sufficient gravity.

Sorry to have to get all sciencey & stuff.

Well if i'd have to choose a scenario....

I'd like it to be surprising, but above all- I'd love to see the world end with my love by my side :happyheart:
