Seemed like that too me too

HIs main problem is that brees knew it was a penalty by how much it hurt. Your playing in the fucking NFL dude every single hit should hurt. The other part of the reasoning was that it turned a game changing defensive play into a a play that actually helped the saints.

What the hell was the defensive player supposed to do? Seriously..... can’t hit high can’t hit low, now you can’t hit in the shoulder pads, may as well be two hand touch on QBs.

Not really, what he said was he hit him in the chest and Drew's neck then sunk down into his arms with the force, kind of like what I said. Him being too short is just another factor in it all, and it's a good point.

I still give Brooks mad props for making the perfect play at the perfect moment, he did what he gets payed to do.

He should have hit the chest. You can't hit a QB's neck. Period. Maybe it's wrong but it's a rule. And if you have something against a rule you should speak up when the rule is proposed, not when it is applied

He did hit him in the chest. There is no way to hit a dude in the neck unless you target with your helmet, which he clearly did not do.

but its pretty clear we aren’t going to agree on this. I just think its a damn shame they ruin such a beautiful play and great game with such a bitch call.

When will the NFL realize people like seeing great defensive plays as much as they like seeing great offensive plays.

Its one of those plays that could go either way  more often than not those close calls are going to go against the Defense to protect QBs. I don't like it, nor do I like the defenseless receiver rule. They are getting paid millions to put there body on the line, let them hit!

It is a absolute travesty to this game the way some quarterbacks are treated. I grew up watching and idolizing some of the greats like Dick Butkus, Alan Page, Jack Lambert, Joe Green...Hacksaw Reynolds, Nick Bonnaconi..sp?, Randy White etc...etc...etc. Half of the plays they made would be called penalties by todays standard. I think Drew Brees, Peyton Manning,  and Tom Brady should just wear red jerseys with skirts while the NFL is converting to a flag football league.:mad2:

This is bullshit. He should have, could have. Bullshit! You can't make that decision that quickly. YOu're gunnin' for a guy at full speed and you're expected to make a judgement call if your arms are going to hit his neck instead of his chest? Give me a fucking break.

Krappernick is the worst QB in the league over the last 7 weeks and his 150 passing yards wasn't enough to get it done in NO :datass:

Didn't Kappernick also intentionally step out of bounds stopping the clock, giving the Saints the extra seconds they needed to score on the final drive.

lol it's so cute how you continue to hold this personal grudge against 1 player.

elax is right in the other thread, he has more capability than little mr. Wilson. Right now the stats aren't showing it because of a combination of factors, the main one being Kaep just doesn't seem to be mentally in tune. On top of that they've had a weak O line and some pretty questionable play calls. But sadly Harbaugh is right, Kaep gets distracted with dumb shit like the social media. Wilson definitely seems to keep his head in the game, and is in sync with his team. We'll see if Kaep can take command of his game again, I sure hope so.

Really though, I've heard people talk obsessively about players they like, but you're constantly talking about a player you claim not to like, it's kind of odd. At least half your posts in the sports forum are about Kaepernick, at least. There's a whole league out there dude...

Ya i noticed that too. he fucked up on that.

Dude didn’t really play a bad game though, yall are just hating too hard.

Haha Ran-D just wait until peyton makes the slightest slip up. You are right though a solid 50% of the QB talk is hate on Kaep, another 50% is hate on manning.

Kap is half the QB Wilson is. Let me remind you that Wilson is about to set the record for most wins in first two years EVER. He's thrown 19 TDs and 6 INT while missing 3 pro bowl O lineman. There isn't a QB in the league who could do what he has this year for the Hawks going 10-1 under those circumstances. He also has the best completion percentage on throws over 15 yards in the entire nfl

Why do seahawk fans almost universally forget its a fucking team sport. Atleast they do on this site.

Kaepernick needs to wake up, he’s got tons of upsides he just can’t put them to use. A lot like cam newton except Cam is finally coming alive again.

Wilson has very few upsides he just knows how to work it. He has the body of a teenager. I doubt that fool can even put up 225. Kaepernick is at least a grown as man. Whats funny is I remember Pj used to rip on Wilson non stop and now he’s a fanboy for him.

Both are tremendous :gayflag:

How the fuck you gonna be this femmy and play in the NFL......

I didn’t pick ATL because I’m not trying to lose but oh god it would be great if they won.

Go Falcons!
