murder and accomplice to murder are two different legal definitions, under the same denomination of it's inherent meaning to the legal system.
i was merely pointing out an inconsistancy in it's wording, and i admitted you were correct in your telling me that they're the same in effect; but you wanted to drudge out meaningless drivel to attempt to aquaint yourself to what you find as stupidity.
we're still on the initial conversation PAL.
you have an inability to read, as well, as i ASKED you if you could have clarified the difference between accomplice and accessory to murder before my previous confusion being cleared up. i did not not tell you that you did anything; or requested that you do anything... i asked you if you COULD have done something. which you admit, that you didn't, because when you said you did... i clarified that you didn't in with which you responded...

No, it doesn't. It doesn't discuss accessory to murder at all...
which means i am seemingly correct in my assertions that you couldn't have been clearer; because you weren't. but i was ASKING YOU... because you need to be clear that your pandering for righteousness is unfounded in this discussion.

She does!!!
Although I didn't mean that she's gross based on how she looks, I meant that she's gross based on what she said about wanting conjugal visits with Manson. DISGUSTING!!!!!

Every post isn't a lecture, son. You meandered off on a tangent when you started talking about accessory...so I steered you back to accomplice liability...which is how manson participated in the murders. Only one person actually killed any of the victims, but all of the participants murdered all of them because they all worked together to do it.

good, lets get off the semantics. like i said, i can agree to disagree and i can accept that i make mistakes.
PS: i would ask that you remember that "Every post isn't a lecture", before you start trying to correct inane grammatical errors, and telling me i'm wrong, after having admitted i've made a mistake.

Yeah, the conjugal visit thing is pretty gross.
I wonder if she'll go Charlie Brown.

There's no telling who actually delivered the fatal stab wound. That's why it doesn't matter. They're all murderers.

indeed. well, no one confessed or anything? i would guess obviously no, but i'd figure someone should have got something out of them, to clarify who did in who. but i would guess they all stuck to a story that they hoped wouldn't incriminate them.
well, it's nice to know that Accomplice to murder has the exact same rap in any case, as murder does. i thought there could be leeway for exclusion from being given the same prison time and judicial premises as having a murder charge, if the "accomplice" had done "less harm" in account of any murders.
i mean, know i'm just curious. it's interesting to me.

Yes, people confessed. Linda Kasabian was the lead witness for the prosecution.
Who did what in a crime DOES count for sentencing, even if it doesn't matter in terms of charges and convictions. Judges will often give a ringleader a harsher sentence than an underling, etc, even though they are all found guilty of the crime.

i see. so hence Manson getting the big old finger from the prosecution, because the rest of them were considered underlings.
Linda Kasabian, she wasn't present at any of the crimes? or was she?hmmm from waht i can see, she committed Break and Enter and Burglary, but was for a large part of the Tate murders, away from any of the predicaments inside the home during the murders.

She was, which is why she was the lead witness. She didn't actually participate in the killings, so the prosecutor gave her immunity in exchange for her testimony. Of course, she was initially charged with the murders and could have been convicted if the deal hadn't have been struck.

just from her being there...? i mean, from what i can see, during the Tate murders, she was told to wait outside the home while everyone was attacking the victims. she was around for other murders? or was it just the fact that she was there at all? i mean, it's not like they have anything but the collected evidence and her testimony; there was no actual way of knowing whether she REALLY did nothing there, right

There's no way of KNOWING anything, but the prosecutor needed a conviction, and she was the key witness that gave it to him. It's not clear whether he could have gotten one without her, particularly in a pre-DNA/CSI world. She appeared to be the least culpable of them all, and the statements made by the others pretty much confirmed that she didn't actually attack anyone.
Still, if she went there with everyone with the intention of killing someone...she's technically guilty.

right. whoo... complex. they had to use her to help get a conviction, even beyond the shadow of a doubt that she was technically guilty, the the eyes of the prosecutors.
Enlil, cliche question, and last one... what is the best Courtroom Drama you've ever seen?
