Possible Blewit ID
    #19170154 - 11/21/13 01:38 PM (10 years, 3 months ago)

Hello,

I found these 2 growing quite furtively out of a trunk yesterday in Western Pennsylvania.

The spore print is cream colored (Blewits range from white to pink).

Thoughts on the ID?

Looks promising, albeit a little beat up.

Eh, yeah I can see why you say that, but when they're old and mature don't blewits get a tan cap, and just overall less purple?

Gills and stem are not right... cap color and look is similar, but the similarities stop there.
