Is Art the god within you trying to communicate?

You sure about that sir? I'm still wondering why we try to imitate life with art when we could be imitating art with life. I suppose you answered that already. But I'm listening, gotta count for something right?

I think many of us do both. When I was younger I saw cool things in art that resonated somewhere deep inside, I imitated that art to be what I wanted to be in life, I lived that art beyond the art itself, I brought it to life in feeling what that art was saying within my self so I could then, put my life to art, and imitate what I went through in that art.

Both. None. Either. Something in between. At the same time. Alone.
-------------------- And thus begins the reverse-fusing of our one-dimentional understanding, and adds ever-expanding perspectives, in depth and number; splitting our perception, and in so doing, seemingly irrationally, creates yet more one-ness, with all that ever was, is and will ever be, streching across the infinite, inunderstood concept of everything, percievable and not.

I don't know. I paint in an attempt to synthesize something tangible out of all the connections I randomly make in my imagination whilst going about my days. I don't know if that makes sense but it sounds about right.

Yes but He is as always patientily waiting for the physical incapability of the inflexibility of my fingers and technique to catch up to what He wants to say.

Well who wants to define God? I think god, like art, is entirely subjective as well as a state of mind. Well there I go defining it. You get my point though.

you can't define God, as it's beyond description. it's just some all encompassing knowledge of how the universe is created; in my understanding anyways... but i know that's faulty though.

God is not a He, or a She for that matter.
God is a creative force, one to succomb and love, but not a Lord to worship.
.. my opinion atleast.
