I don't need any help or hand outs. Not my style, it is clearly your style though. Troll on !!!!! Go give some of your wealth away then instead of sitting on the internet crying to others about fair and equal treatment.

I can assure you me and my family pay more than you and yours. We just aren't so wealthy that we can isolate ourselves from the filth that comes from poverty. Or some of us choose not to I suppose. You are living a pipe dream that benefits no one but those at the top.
Have a little empathy and use your head. It makes economic sense to invest in the human capital of our country. Not have them flounder on half assed welfare so most of their progeny can do the same

you probably pay more because you are forced to. I pay taxes because i'm threatened with violence if i don't. That doesn't make it okay. I have empathy, i just don't think giving away other peoples money is empathetic. Welfare creates a larger percentage of those in poverty.

You think being worth a million dollars is wealthy? 7 digits?
Well shit I'm related to some millionaires. And I know a lot
But that's not reality, it's the super rich that will control this country unless the vast majority of us are well fed and well informed. If we want this society to work there needs to be a balance, and the free market isn't going to get us there.

Juicin said: Yes we have to spread the wealth around or you run into the problem marx very accurately described. His solution may not have been perfect, but the conflict is clear. And if you want the system to continue on you need to find a balance. We live in a consumer economy where more and more wealth is controlled by fewer people every day. And this hurts our society in an innumerable amount of ways. The most direct being sucking the wealth out of communities and leaving large swathes of the population destitute
But from an economic standpoint. There is no reason not to stimulate demand via direct income. Government deficits don't matter to an economy like ours
"Government deficits don't matter to an economy like ours"
So why don't we run $3 trillion dollar deficits every year? No taxes, plus free health-care, fuel, food, and beer for everyone, it doesn't matter right?
You really don't understand economic and monetary study do you?

Our economy will not collapse if we increased our spending by a great deal. Obviously there are limits, but we aren't near them. Not to mention there are thousands of ways a government can rack up debt and end up with a healthy investment in teh long term. For example education.
I'd say you know nothing about economics. Or are taking me very literally on a subject you know more than enough not to ask me about
edit - the greatest example being education

yes because 1 million is the same as 900 million
the rich have (and always will have) purchasing power within the government. So essentially the uber wealthy are the government correct? So wouldn't it make sense to limit the power of the government aka the super wealthy? Why do you desire such control in your life? Why do you have such a need for powerful masters? Personally i just want to be left the fuck alone. I don't want the government involved in my life, why do you?

who knows, you may get wealthy and its possible i will as well. The guy who invented snap chat in his college dorm just got offered 3 Billion dollars from Facebook. There are many examples of self made people in this country and others. Economic stimulus comes from productivity. Giving away other peoples money is not productivity. And Socialism does not work. The more capitalist a society the more prosperous it is.
"Socialism does not work"
In some places it does, very well in fact.
"The more capitalist a society the more prosperous it is"
Not true, it depends on the society, sometimes more capitalism works, sometimes it doesn't.

please cite where more a free market alone has created disparity. And there are certain places where specific types of socialist systems has worked for a limited amount of time. But socialism as a whole does not work.
even countries that have socialist type programs in place are realizing that they don't work http://www.newgeography.com/content/004028-the-dutch-rethink-welfare-state

Are you suggesting that education always provides a great return on investment? It doesn't, sometimes it's a complete waste.
Graduating more law students doesn't create more legal work, graduating more accountants doesn't create more accounting work, graduating more engineers doesn't create more projects.
