First-time grower, hopefully a simple question

I'm doing my first PF Tek following Evilshroom666's recommendations. I've inoculated 12 half-pint jars, and am now waiting on colonization.
My question is, following this method and using 12 half-pint jars with one 10cc syringe of Golden Teachers for inoculation, what is a conservative estimate on the dried weight of one flush of mushrooms? I realize that success varies, but assuming everything goes averagely, what weight can I conservatively expect one flush to yield once dried?
Thanks very much, and I hope to become a contributing member of this site very soon.

Fairly sure a half pint is supposed to be 3.5-7gs dried in weight (1-3 flushes)
So you could be looking at 1 oz and a half average for one flush on 12 cakes assuming everything goes right... if my math is correct here. then again I've never done such a thing and am not a TC
and since you posted Ill give you some more advice, Do lots and lots of reading - look up RR's videos for great tutorials - try not count your chickens before they hatch (I know its hard) - try not to be discouraged if you fail (everyone knows that's hard) - and I wish you the best of luck sir

You never really know, and no one can really tell you. There are too many factors. How your FC is setup. Conditions. Genetics.
In my limited cultivating time, with MS, I have had cakes give me a bonanza of mushies, and I have had them give me 2. I hope to start some agar work soon attempting to get better genetics.

notahacker so you would not agree that there is any sort of average assuming all conditions are ideal?
So one half pint could flush nothing and one half pint could flush an ounce dry? assuming your using ms as your genetics in a 12 hALF pint trial? or am I putting words in everyones posts?

Not when dealing with MS....everything is a crapshoot.
There is no way to determine what genetics will do when they have not even been created yet.
MS is always a random crapshoot of genetics.
Rough estimate will be 1-5 grams per flush per cake.

Yes....kinda.....you will never see an ounce from one cake from one flush....total per all flushes....possibly....but doubtful.

I once had a 86 quart tub produce one cluster with MS, weighed about 4 grams. Never contamed, just sat there looking excellent and doing nothing while my other tubs fruited and passed it by. However I cloned that cluster and its now one of my best cultures, fast, excellent fruiter, etc. MS is a crapshoot.

I don't like labeling MS as a crapshoot. I've seen a lot of MS grows with only great results. I like to think of it as a roll of the die. some land on free parking, while others go to jail

Thanks for the info. What is MS short for? I'm pretty well-familiar with most of the acronyms at this point, though there are clearly still some I don't know.

I'm kind of just spitballing here so correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm guessing multi-spore is the method you're always going to end up with when you order a syringe from somewhere? Because the spores will have all come from who-knows-how-many different mushrooms with a bunch of different DNA? As opposed to if you were to clone or use spores only from a specific mushroom, which will all have the same DNA? Or am I way off here?

Yes.

Spores are always a crapshoot, no matter what the parent mushroom looked like....
Cloning is better, because there are way less genetics....and most of the time all the genetics found in clones will be fruiters.
Isolation is getting down to the individual sets of genetics....we do this to find the best genetics possible, and then we keep that culture alive as long as possible and keep going back to it.
