Bleach and Geolite

Ok, so some guy just washed his geolite with a 5% bleach, 95% water mix. He gave them what he thought was a good rinsing off, but he smelled in his terium today and he can definitely still smell bleach. Is this bad for the pf cakes? or is it probably ok?
