Smaller holes will make for larger fuller clusters.  Also looks like some of your fruiting parameters need tweaked as well.  In what or where are you fruiting these?

The buckets was made for something else and they looked almost idenical to what I saw here somewhere. They are on a landing going down to my root cellar, it stays mid 60's there. Im not having an easy time finding info growing any edibles. Most everything is in a pdf that my tablet just doesnt like, I dont have a pc.

Most everything you need is here on the forums.  Search something like bucket oysters and you will get plenty of reading and see what worked and didn't work for others.

Good work - I give you lots of credit if you have gotten this far without a pressure cooker!

By your description I cant tell if the landing is inside or outside, but Im assuming in?  Like others have said they could maybe use some more fresh air to get you less stem and bigger caps.  I have also found blues to be more demanding of FAE than my pearl oyster strains, so if thats your only fruiting arrangement that could be something to try.  Keep us posted on the progress!

Its kinda inside, its in a extention on the house but it isnt heated or ac'ed at all. I have a pc, always have, got it from mom and she got it from hers but you can still buy all the seals for it. Ive only done actives and they loved it down there. I quit growen that shit but I love growen mushies so I went with edibles.

It's almost like the blues make so many pins they end up "necky" even in what is normally enough air, if just to grow away from each other a bit.  Mine looked kinda like that too at first, but after more growth I got some alright caps.  Anything you can do to get them more air (less CO2) will help.

These pics might help for comparison, you can see mine suffered too a bit at first (see the rear cluster in the first pic).  But they turned out quite delicious in the end

Ok, ive looked and looked but I cant find the ideal hole size for the buckets. Ive found 3/8 to 1 inch. Im going to make new ones ond not use my strawberry buckets anymore. Sad thing is I left them last ones because they were getting big but they got a woody texture and started tasting very bad, live and learn I guess.

I can see how that could happen, you see pc as pressure cooker a hundred times a day while your on here.
