Habitat: growing off wood chips
Gills: buff to pale brown(edges become bruised); seems to be adnate Spores: no prints from these but rub off on my finger dark purple
Caps: is flat to very open Stem is also bruising blue to black.
Found a small patch of something I don't know! They were all dried up & noticed blue on the stems. A few days passed and I came back to find 3 small fresh mushrooms. I cut them and took them home for a photo shoot.

I believe they are too small to get prints from so I will be putting parts of these on agar right away.

those look like they could likely be some extremely beat up Psilocybes

it's definitely one of the 2. any observation of mine is that people who live in washington and who live in the bay find more cyans than alenii, just an observation though

great!
I'll make sure to check this area out again and get a few photos.
Is there anything "simple" I could be doing to help nurture this spot?

While it's not absolutely concrete, they are allenii by the flower petal splitting.

Attn PWN hunters: If you should come across a bluing Psilocybe matching P. pellicolusa please smell it. If you detect a scent reminiscent of Anethole (anise) please preserve a specimen or two for study and please PM me.
