Jumping Myc Piss?

Ok so here is the background on this:
I did my first attempt at some bulk a little while ago using a ratio of 40:50:10 of coir/verm/coffee and a ratio of 1:4 of spawn/sub. Everything went peachy, the substrate colonized great and no signs of anything bad. I placed my bulk container into my FC and misted and fanned. Roughly two days after I placed said container into my FC I started to notice this yellowish liquid that only showed after I misted. I did some research, and found a LOT of posts about "myc piss". A lot of posts said that it could be from overly hydrated sub, or bacteria. So I decided to wait it out a couple more days and see if it got any worse. Well I woke up to this:

Now what worries me is that the cakes in the same FC are also starting to show signs of yellowing. Can "myc piss" be transferred/jump from one sub to another? The cakes are BRF cakes. Also is "myc piss" an all out loss and do I need to throw all of these away? If not, how might I save these?

Don't stress. Metabolites are sometimes produced by healthy mycelium as well. They can be a sign of bacteria, which usually doesn't mean you won't get any mushrooms, but bacteria aren't jumping from cake to cake. You don't have to isolate--just be patients and keep an eye on them. You'll know if they start rotting.

So mushrooms that grow from metabolite tainted sub are still editable? i was under the impression that they would also be tainted.

Nope! They shouldn't be. And even if they are, make a tea out of them and you'll be just fine. There are only a few bacteria which will hurt you even after they're dead--syphilis is one of them. Does your cake have syphilis?

Watch out your Rh. It seems too high. You should be ok with those cakes but the casing needs much less Rh. Nevertheless, you should lower it a little bit.

@Maia - Just so I'm clear, what is RH? Oh and I didn't do a casing layer? I just mixed the spawn with the sub, covered and let it colonize. I thought that this would be okay?
@Van Der - No, my cakes most def do not have syphilis! They are classy cakes!

RH refers to Relative Humidity. When growing mushrooms you have two main environmental parameters: temperature and relative humidity. Achieving both on all growth stages is paramount to have a good crop. Check the numbers, on both params, for the pinning stage inside you terrarium. You need a thermometer for the temp and a hygrometer for the RH. You can buy both at a pet shop, agro depot or a supermarket. In your case, lowering the RH, would imply to fan more often, stop misting or drain accumulated water inside you terrarium. Check always your hygrometer and try to maintain steady levels. The same goes with temps.
Regarding the casing layer. You should have applied a sterile top layer (ie vermiculite). It just makes it a bit harder to pin without that top layer. If you have access to vermiculite, soak it, blast it in the microwave for 5 mins at max, let cool down and apply. You can soak the verm in a 1:10 - h2o2:h2o solution and let it rest for a couple of hours before blasting it in the microwave. Oh h2o2 is hydrogen peroxide. You can get it almost everywhere.
