A little help perfecting my first monotub
    #19164876 - 11/20/13 11:58 AM (10 years, 2 months ago)

So this is my very first grow, inoculated WBS and spawned to coir on the 4th. I was starting to see a few pins so I decided to introduce to fruiting conditions on the 18th. I'm seeing a decent amount of growth, the pins I originally noticed are growing and I'm seeing a decent amount more pop up, so I know I'm at least doing something right.

Really my only question at this point, is does my monotub look alright or do I need to adjust something? I'm a little worried it might be drying out somewhat, the corners look a little dry but it's hard for me to gauge exactly what is ''dry'' and not being as this is my first go at this. I see rings of evaporation around the bottom holes, and a decent amount of streaking from the top holes.

Part of me wants to say it's the lid causing this, but during colonization the ENTIRE tub was covered in condensation, and I've made no modifications to the lid since then. Hopefully someone can lead me in the right direction, or maybe I don't need to be worrying at all...

Yeah I've read that and followed that...

I've adjusted things a few times. Not trying to be an asshole, but can you give me some input without sending me to a link I've already read

if I wanted to refer back to that link, I wouldn't have spent the time making a topic....

Did you specify whether or not you read that thread?

No....so don't have an attitude.

There should be condensation on most of all the walls, except for a ring of dryness around each hole.

If you have that slight ring around each hole, you should be fine.

They look fine to me....have a fan oscillating in the room.

the corners having no condensation is ok then? I was sort of thinking it might be an indicator that things are drying out too fast or something. Trying not to overthink it, but I want to make sure that things are on the right track before yields or anything get too heavily affected(if it's even something I need to worry about)
