You bet. You just want to make some sort of psudo FAE to make the jar more like fruiting conditions. The lid you have for colonizing only lets gas diffuse but fresh air ever gets in.

I'm sure the yield sucks but if you want to at least see something with 0 risk then it seems like a good choice.
I wonder if you could case it in the jar haha.

i opened it plenty of times to check the smell, smelled like mushys i just didn't have the time to do anything with it, but after four months i dunked them and spawned, colonized in ten days fruited in just 5 with no mutants and went four flushes

IME with KSSS they really need ideal conditions to pin. I know a cube is a cube but, I think most people who grow KSSS can agree that they are in their own mutated fucked up class almost like PE. I have never tried them with cakes but I have also heard that they don't do well on those either. Maybe its just me, but I got a feeling that they might just not perform in a situation like invitro fruiting.

yep when i first started working with that variety i had a shit ton of ugly first flushes, then my brother consolidated his for a couple weeks(his bulk) and cased it and had him some beauts! been following it ever since and don't get the first flush ugly's
