My first ID request (Washington state)

Hey guys! This is my first ID request so hopefully I don't leave anything out. Also, I'm very new to this so pointers are extremely welcome.

Ok, so, when I first stumbled upon these I thought they looked a lot like the Psilocybin Cyanescens that grow in my state (washington). However, they don't bruise blue. *sad face* So I would love some help in identifying these and perhaps some guidance in differentiating between these and Cyanescens if these are in fact not them. Thank you so much! I'm glad this little spot on the interwebs exists so I can learn more about my hobby.
These guys growing in some woods, next to some sort of pine tree and on a bunch of fallen leaves.
The gills appear to be free. They were a lighter tanish color before they were picked, but have turned into a darker gray/brown.
The biggest caps were about 2 inches in diameter, a dark orangish brown in the center fading into a lighter brown outside, with a convex shape and a smooth surface. Though, as they're drying the center color has seemed to have faded while the outer edges are darkening (don't know if that's important).
The stems are a tan/white with a somewhat bumpy surface. The tallest ones were about 5 inches. Maybe 3/4 centimeter in diameter, sturdy with a hollow center.
I gave the spore print about three hours (next time I think I'll give it longer), but it looks to be a dark purplish to softer brown in some areas.

Considering appearance, habitat and color of spore deposit, I'd say it is probable.

I never handled cyans myself, but the most obvious features of H. marginatum are its pale to white cap margin (in young specimens) and its typically gleaming fibrillose stem.
It is apparently also very bitter tasting. It grows in conifer debris, while my impression is that P. cyanescens prefers hardwoods.

It might prefer hardwoods, but very few hardwood chips get spread in the bay area. Usually I find it in conifer chips.

Thanks you guys! There was bit of old bark from the nearby tree among them and they definitely had a very fibrillose stem. Although the younger ones weren't much lighter than the full grown ones (camera makes it appear that way, sorry). The darkest ones you see seemed to be rotting. At least I know they're not Cys. I will keep looking
I'm gonna post another id req soon of a beautiful pink mushroom I found. Probably not anything magical, but I'm still very curious!!
Thanks again!!
