NFC Wildcard Race

Which teams y'all think get a wildcard spot this year for the NFC? Do you think the 49ers will sneak in and make another Superbowl run? What about the NFC North? The Lions have some ballers but they haven't been able to put the pieces where they need to be. Who do you think takes the NFC north? Then of course Dallas and Philly are battling it out in the East. I fucking love the NFC

Hard to say at this point.
I definitely think Carolina or NOLA take a wildcard spot. That last spot will be hard to get thats for sure. My guess would be an NFC north team, probably the bears. Unless San Francisco Rebounds hard.

I think (hope) the bears get the spot. I think we need to keep in Mccown until he gets off his hotspot. In the past games he's been more consistent than Cutlers been.

I would never have thought that Carolina could catch NOLA, but yesterdays Patriots game make it seem very possible. Cam Newton was very effective along with their great defense. If Newton can keep this up they have a shot at the two seed, but Brees is always productive and their defense has been a big surprise.
NOLA plays Atlanta and then Seattle. I think the home team wins this battle but I don't know whose at home. Then the Saints play Carolina 2 of the last 3 weeks of the season. I still think Seattle and NOLA take the top spots with Carolina as the top wildcard.
For some strange reason I think the Giants are going to pull out the East. It almost seems like Coughlin plans to lose all these games so he can rally them for a late push. The Eagles are revitalized and a contender, but I think Dallas will find a way to blow it. No wildcard from this division.
The second wildcard has to come from SF or the North. Kappernick doesn't look like he's got it this year, but they do currently have conference tiebreakers. All that leaves is whether Rodgers comes back and is it too late. The Pack plays at Chicago the last game.
I don't see the Cardinals getting in, so Chicago or Green Bay gets the last spot.
Once the playoffs get started it's Seattle, NOLA and maybe Carolina. The others will drop quickly.

Carolina has a little bit of the team of destiny thing going on. If they keep grinding out wins it will be hard to pick against em.

Saints have Seattle then Carolina back to back, then they have Carolina again later on in their schedule. Looks like the NFC South will be an interesting watch in regards to the Wild Card race.

I can't remember a season with so many teams who are in the race almost 3/4 of the way through the season. Seems like teams are a lot more evenly matched this year.

I would have to go with Carolina if they dont win the division, if they win, then I would pick Saints for 1 of the spots
Then I would have to go with the 9er's for the 2nd spot

Not to kill your buzz but it happens almost every year at this point. Gruden has some shit he says about thanksgiving being the point when you can really start to judge the quality of a team.

Is that not what seattle does and you constantly bag on the team. Yet insanely consistent the past 2 years.

Do some more of these " ”
No one expected Carolina to do shit except fire their coach and continue building in the draft. The more they believe they can win the more dangerous they become. Cam Newton is the man. Remember what he did at Auburn? Dude is something special, now if he actualizes that potential......
Why do you always try to talk about Seattle when my posts have nothing mentioning Seattle in any way shape or form? There is no way Seattle doesn’t get in the playoffs unless they lose every game from here on out, and they would still need a lot of help to get booted. End of story.
Unless you expect Seattle to be fighting for a wildcard i don’t get the relevance.

No he hasn't, you need consistency to show that, not half a seasons worth of play.
i don't think the giants are gonna make it Group.

Giants will lose to the Cowboys this weekend. Might be a close but the fire under Dallas' ass is a little bit warmer

I dunno man...New York is hot and at home. They're playing with house money, bro. Started 0 and fucking 6 and still got a shot at the division? Lmao. And Dallas has been playing pretty terrible lately. I could see it go either way...but an NYG blowout wouldn't shock me here.
