So I hear that when you're ready, the deemsters finds you. I guess I'm ready wish me luck on my journey.

Good luck man. Remember not to get intimidated. There is some neat stuff to see down that rabbit hole. Some people get a little nervous from the come on, but once you get passed that the ride is pretty smooth a lot of the time

I'm guessing the come up is somewhat like salvia in the sense that you are just blasted out of a cannon into another dimension, except this one is utter psychedelia. I'll ride the flow.

I haven't done salvia yet. I normally don't get "blasted" but i don't take huge hits either, just many. My lungs can't handle massive hits. So for me and a lot of people i help launch off, the come up is more like a really heavy stoning that sometimes feels pleasant, sometimes feels like you're about to fall into insanity. Then the more you do, it gets heavier but the visuals start coming out and putting you into a very trance like world where it becomes much easier to ride it out. Basically, the more you become absorbed, the more you let go of the world behind.
But i'm not saying you gotta go full out your first time. Just don't let the small doses make you nervous to go further when you're in that moment.

Should I smoke a whole .1 or just half that? I'm rather interested in the concept of breaking through, though I'm not sure if I should.

Also would you recommend any music or is no music better?

Is it relatively pure freebase powder? If so a breakthrough can be achieved around 50 or 60mg and you might not even be able to finish a whole .1 if you tried.
Also, i only recommend music on low doses. And ambient music at that. It completely gets in the way of anything in the higher realms, because DMT has it's own sort of soundtrack and outside sounds can get pretty chaotic

So I got it and it's a yellow powder. It smells like a fresh pair of sneakers.

Yeah. Tried it. I do not like it one bit. No sir. Fall into insanity is a good way to describe it. Luckily I didn't smoke enough to fall in. I now see this the way I would see an electrical socket after sticking a fork in it . This isn't for me. I like my clear, rational mind, and my clear rational LSD.

You didn't like DMT? How would you describe the experience? Although the experience can be frightening, I find it doesn't make me think irrationally. And in lower doses it feels like a euphoric adrenaline rush. I find it altogether fascinating and strange that you've decided you don't like it!

Check out my other thread "dmt isn't to be fucked with...?" I explained in detail there

You were supposed to fall in. That is the point of DMT. Other wise it's just like getting taunted by hyperspace beings. But on the other side of that veil lies paradise. But that's only for the travelers willing to work hard on the front end

Jackson I tried it a second time and wasn't so much intimidated as I just understood that personally, although dmt is incredibly beautiful, exotic and fascinating, it just isn't for me. I don't really want to see what's in that rabbit hole. I've gone down enough rabbit holes as it is, and I feel very strongly that if I go down this one, I'm not coming back. I'd rather abstain from dmt and keep my sanity than trip and lose the rational grip I have on myself and the world.

Dude i promise you, you will not get stuck down there. Unless you have some kind of family history of schizophrenia or something, that door is gently locked upon exiting and all the madness stays behind it where it started. People smoke DMT allll the time. In fact it's probably one of the safest psychedelics due to its short nature. In the moment, you may FEEL like you're never going to come back, but you always do. I once had an oral DMT trip where i took too much by accident and was essentially breaking through for 2 hours. Of course the breakthrough itself was absolute paradise, but as i started to exit it all the insanity came back and i became 100% convinced i had ruined my brain and all sanity was gone forever. I was cussing people out, begging for people to kill me, planning how i was going to tell my mom i needed to commit suicide, etc. Within another couple hours i was completely baseline like none of it had ever happened. And that was the worst of the worst. You'll probably never encounter anything like that on smoked DMT
Losing your sanity from a smoked DMT trip is pretty much unheard of. Sanity is generally one of those things that starts to unhinge over time, not from a 5 minute exposure

Yeah my uncle is kind of fucked in the head, as I described in my other thread, and he's broken through on dmt lol. I'm fine with LSD, I got a glimpse, my subconscious made it clear that it's not for me, so it's not for me, and I'm fine with that.

If you don't mind me asking Jackson, how much DMT did you ingest orally on this "bad trip"?
