BR cakes to cast crumble?

I have a few BR cakes of Penis Envy. It was my fist time working with mushrooms, and I made a few rookie mistakes. I know now that I should have used Rye Berries to grow the PE, but the mistake was already made. Now I need to know if I can salvage these beautiful colonized cakes.
Can I break up the rice cakes and mix them with a really good pre-pasteurized mushroom compost, and cover them with a casting layer? Will they grow and recover from this, or do I just have 2 pretty reminders of how new I am?
Here is my set-up. Casting layer is made up of: organic peat moss, coarse vermiculite, hydrated lime, and granular gypsum.
My compost is made up of: dehydrated horse manure, exotic zoo manure, organic coconut coir, vermiculite, and gypsum.
My Fruiting chamber is a shotgun style, with a few upgrades. I have a computer case fan at one end that vents out the Co2 a few times a day, and on the opposite corner I have a pint jar of water with an air stone, running to an aquarium pump to keep up the humidity levels. I have a standard LED grow light, and my chamber stays right around 99% humidity & 73 degrees all the time.
Any suggestions are welcome.

You can take the cakes break them up as small as you can and spawn to bulk. I would not use mushroom compost . I would go with coir, verm, and case with a casing layer of your choice. And get rid of that crazy sgfc. It's just gonna slow you down. Build a good mono tube

I can build a monotub easily enough, but this chamber did great growing my BR cake Puerto Ricans. Why would it not work well for a bulk cast?

Your sgfc might have worked but the fan,air stone just adds room to fail . IMO the fan would dry out your cakes/mini bulk , and the air stone would Not provide enough moisture to keep your RH where it should be . A Proper built sgfc will give you enough FAE and RH for what ever you put in it .

Ok, to clarify, the chamber is currently empty because I was cleaning it. There is usually a layer of moist perlite, but I'm not going to add it when I don't have any cakes ready. Also, that fan doesn't run all the time. I only run it for a few minutes 3 times a day to vent the CO2. (In place of manual fanning) The air stone helped boost the oxygen in the tank. My last crop showed signs of strain from not enough oxygen, so that was an upgrade I made. I did that in an attempt to keep from opening the lid all the time.
Is that wrong? ((Again... way new, so please don't think I'm not hearing you. I genuinely want to know where my mistakes are, and how to fix them.))

you can fruit pe in a sgfc from brf cakes.. no need for a fan. i think you need more holes in that thing too. the fan is probably killing your humidity.
