12/12 light cycle or 24 hours at 85degrees?

85 sounds too high for me. That will promote the growth of badies. I wouldn't go over 80F as the mycel itself produces heat.
12/12 light gives the mycel a night/day rhytm.
I don't think going 24hrs will benefit as it does cannabis as fungus uses light differently.
IME the fruits do most of it's growing during the dark period, but this is just my exp, nothing I've read or heard :shrug:

yeah i had a electronic device on stand by but since then got rid of it and it seems like 75 80 in there a majority of the time

good to know I won't fret then

Only give ambient, low level room light during colonization. Avoid bright light. Put the jars on an open shelf in your room at a temp of no more than 80F.
