Coffee grounds contaminated...

my coffee ground bags keep getting like white balls of mycelium then it goes grey in spots....what is wrong here...its for oysters...

apparently they are prone to contamination.  mix them with something else like sawdust or straw.

Without knowing anything about how you are doing this I am going to guess
that you are sterilizing the coffee. You need to pasteurize it.

Heat the substrate between 140-180F for 60 to 90 minutes. use the search engine to get ideas on how to do this.

Just avoid using coffee grinds altogether.  They pack too tight and prevent air transfer (and harder to sterilise).  They have a small particle size making mycelial running very slow.  They are very high in nitrogen and so lots of contaminants love them. 

And you have to sterilise them, not pasteurise them.

I have done this many times. Sterilizing is very bad.

You have to pasteurize.

Sterilizing stalls growth. Then contams will come.

Pasteurizing is the only way to go for coffee grounds.

But I agree that OP should just drop the grounds and go with straw.
