So yesterday, myself and two other friends had our first go round with 25i. Friday, we had purchased some hits, and I went to a small house paryt. Im not the type to really trip in these kind of situations, so I held back that night while a few of my friends took the blotters. They seemed to have a good time, but they have only had a few encounters with psychedelics so they didn't have much to compare to. Yesterday, myself and two others decided it would be a good day to try out this substance. We met at a restaurant around 11:30, grabbed a bite to eat, then dropped the nbome. We each took 2 and a half hits around 12:00. We dropped off my friends car at his house, then headed to our local hiking trails/ art museum. By the time we had arrived in the parking lot, it was about 12:30 and all our mouths were numb. As soon as we parked, I was hit with a wave of nausea. I became very uncomfortable and the visuals were coming on much faster and stronger than I had anticipated. I got out of my car to get some air and ride my unicycle around, which didn't make me feel any better. By the time we got onto the trail, I was already having strong visuals. It was too much. There really was no come up at all, just BAM. We planned to walk out to this very cool artistic pavilion in the middle of the forest. In the ten miniuetes it took us to walk there, I had to stop about four times just to get ahold of myself. We finally just decided to take a break and get use to this new state we were in. Unlike LSD, the visuals seemed extremely fast. The tree branches were spinning, and everything had a holographic look to it. My friends faces all had dots on them, which would swirl and twist into intricate patterns. As we sat there, our sitter called and said he was at the parking lot. S and N went back to meet him, and I just sat there. At this point I started to become comfortable with how I felt. Everything I looked at turned into decorated skulls, kind of like the Day of the Dead candy skulls in Mexico. I also had bizarre auditory hallucinations. Everything sounded like I was listening through a tube, everything I said had a long drawn out echo, and there was a constant pulsating buzzing sound which lasted the whole trip, the only other time I have experienced this was from smoking DMT. We met our sitters and made our way to the pavilion. This was the best part of the trip for me. I was so content with life, and felt the most beautiful connection to nature I have every encountered. This was the first time in my life I had ever cried from seeing something so beautiful. After this we went to our town square to eat some crepes, and this is were things turned a bit sour. I was still having a good time, but we were all starting to come down and became very very confused. It was like something out of a dream, and I did not like it at all. After I got home that evening, I had a slightly uncomfortable body high, and high anxiety. All in all, I would say this trip was a good experience, but next time I would plan a full 8 hours of nothing but being with nature. Its all about setting and mindset.
