Doubt * 1
    #19150228 - 11/17/13 03:15 PM (10 years, 2 months ago)

Allow me to ask a rhetorical question, it is hoped to truly get you thinking.

Do you question you own beliefs and scrutinise them in the same way that you would question and scrutinise others? This can include but is not limited to, the religious, cultural, emotional, scientific and physical beliefs/perceptions/hypotheses that you don't agree with.

Or are you merely disagreeing because you haven't spent the time to properly investigate others' perspective and apply the same skepticism to your own views?

I know that I said this is rhetorical but I'll answer by saying I am guilty of massive bias but I'm working towards removing it and I think I'm doing a fairly good job.

The answer is obvious as you well know.  We are all biased and it's just a matter of the degree.

My beliefs have changed drastically through many phases over the years, if one were to skim through my posts in these forums that should be evident enough. Its a common occurrence for me to admit if I've made an error during a thread.

That's not something I share with the unwashed masses, its evidently a rare set of qualities.

I have felt alone in this too, I've been so very fortunate to have a group of people around me these days that let their ideas change and evolve as new ideas come to light or show that an error was made in previous lines of thinking. They are critical but thoughtful thinkers.

My wife is truly a gift to me in this.

I hope there are those around you that can help you to keep growing and learning and those you look up to who can guide you through this.

you emphasize on something that doesn't matter at all

it is good to love yourself more then anything and to act free without comparison needs, being free positively is first not being through the concept of needs nor others reasons

but your argument is from the opposition to another right point

which is also about being free but negatively, so never act by abusing others right for yourself life

the way of life is to kill what is not like you, in the means that it wont ever like you to be real in same reality forever, but this is wrong

it is not up to individuals even true to kill anyone else, unless of course in self defense

by rejecting others that you dislike as existing rights too, you are meaning to confuse yourself with truth, so to stay as an object being and not free, so killing actually yourself right to be free relative individual out of truth

to me the more someone is different the more I recognize him existing, as long as he is not an evil being, opposed to truth concept for the same fact that any relative is out of as being sharing base, so as long as he respect himself base and assume alone his freedom in living honestly like objectively real

it is very sane to be totally different, the best way to be positively existing so objectively free, when others are not alike when being different is a fact of being free

when also objective existence cannot be known then it is better to let it be on superiority reference, while it is truly superior always..so it is very healthy I think to get closer to the concept of own-self the right sense of being all what matter really because different as free

no need to do good, when not doing bad is the good reason

things rights are only out of constancy fact, so free realities which is the positive reason

WORD. I doubt everything nowadays. Funny it used to be the opposite, I'd believe in everything, now I find myself even doubting the doubt of reality I made.

I truly don't know anything EXCEPT that I came here out of the blue once before (only piece of evidence we have that can prove our existence will be back), that's the conclusion ive made and I doubt that too.

also about biases, yeah I judge and have biases. it happens :frown:

no it is obvious I am even the opposite to wise man figures like Buddha or else, I hate any role taken seriously and played in repeating itself objectively, it is clearly a fallacy to me, as it is forced

my weakness is rights which happen to be exclusively freedom rights, so I must be truly free

I love who really loves me, this is my exclusive sense of love, who enjoy my presence I love them in return
maybe because it is too easy for me to love as to see something superiority and even realize its freedom adds positively

but actually I don't love anyone because I am true, so I see immediately the fallacy and it becomes nothing of it forever

absolutes are like a reference for superior freedom rights so for existence identification, for present actual matter

it is funny how far you don't least know what you buy to preach..all your focus is on powers over constant values, which you are going to loose for sure, even that focus possibility when that powers gonna get killed

who hates is who love himself, try to talk to any living it would show you that nature in anything

loving others is actually not being considerate to itself right enough, this is why the principle is abused to enslave good people easily by forcing them to be nothing in forcing to accept that concept about themselves, while in trying to see if they would accept also being shit for less efforts of conditions powers and more profits of their slavery in mass...so for more powers life freedom

like it is clear in animals natural life, the more it is feroce and cruel with others the more it is pointed being sexy for the rich of himself he appears to be

You keep projecting onto me :p

My point is our perceptions are not outside of our selves, we build our view of the world. You perceive someone, that perception is also you. You perceive something, that perception is also in you.

You hate someone, you are hating your self. Your perceptions are your building.

This could also been seen as a projection
