Use all the spore print?

So if one were to use a spore print to inoculate agar should you use all the spore print at once or can you use 1/3 or 1/2 etc and leave the rest for another day?

1/3 of a sporeprint is still an insane amount of spores.  Very, very few are needed and the rest can be saved for up to a few years with no problems.

I would just barely touch the print and then touch the agar. Try to get as few spores as possible.

Tip: expect to wait to see growth. Spores need to be hydrated to germinate so a spore syringe would show faster growth. The agar is wet enough to hydrate your spores but you'll see slower initial signs of growth.
