contaminants defeated?
    #19149238 - 11/17/13 11:12 AM (10 years, 2 months ago)

Hello everyone. I had seven pf jars going on and two started to show signs of contaminants right before they were completely colonized. I birthed the other five and procrastinated on throwing the other two out for about a week. I went back to check on them and dispose of them, and I noticed that the green mold patch which was there is now gone. Is such a thing possible? Are the contaminants still invisibly present or is it safe to birth these two wayward jars?

Cubensis will not defeat mold on its own.  You might have some success if you bury them in a flowerpot or something, but probably not very much.  If it's spring where you are, now is a good time to start an outdoor patch.
