That was the cakes at about 5 hours ago.
This is the small pin on the right side of the left cake... veil broken.
This is a small shroom on the top of the left cake... veil broken.
Is this acceptable for cutting mature fruits away from immature fruits???
Or should i cut more of the base away from the mature fruits after the initial cutting to leave less fruit-body???
It seems weird to me that after I cut mature fruits off of a cake, that some of the other, small/medium fruits, stop cell division of the veil and focus on maturity of fruit. Basically, it seems like I cut a mature fruit, and the smaller fruits with formed caps, "visible" veils (small), and stalks of ~1" +/- .5", decide that they dont need their veil anymore!?!?!
Is this normal or what? i can rule out genetics on the fact that it is happening on two completely separate cakes from the same syringe.
Someone with experience, please lend me your wisdom and knowledge.

you can never rule out genetics when using a syringe or print

Any syringe is loaded with millions if not billions of spores and just 2 match and mate
if i had to guess, the shrooms prolly thinking *Well they got Escar lets open up to trick him lester *Lester* Nods ^^ *
forreal though have a laugh cause i have no clue
None the less some nice looking cake shrooms you have there sir!

agreed nice looking fruits op but...
each injection has differnt spore that are mating.
if you had a 200cc syringe full of spores..(i think thats possible with as few as 10 good prints) you could do 100 cakes in 100 differnt FC's and 100 more in 100 identical FC's
and if you inocculated them with MS (multi spore syringe) they all have differnt genetics.
i am a newb but this i am sure is fact.

Let me explain, When I said "I can rule out genetics" I meant that what I am seeing is not a shared genetic trait. Therefore, I can say, that what I am observing has to do with the organism as a whole.
Thanks guys :-) I'm currently watching mother nature show me her wrath by shriveling those beauties in the dehydrator...
God that sucks to watch haha

This is im considering the first flush from 2 other cakes birthed at the same time.
im going to print a couple, the gills on 2 of them are extremely white. Not "fuzzy feet" white, but like the gills themselves do not have that fleshy color...
Enjoy
