Anyone have absurd insomnia here?
It feels weird that I can be tired during the day then still be up till 4am on a regular basis.

It's all that blue light from your computer screen. There's a program that adjusts the color and light levels of your screen as the day progresses so it won't throw off your circadian cycle as much.

Yep. I am tired all day long... hell sometimes I take a nap in the middle of the day. But when it comes time to actually sleep, I have a really hard time without Diphenhydramine (which I just took, so I will stop posting shortly. I know that will hurt everyone's feelings).

I have the same problem. I would be sleepy sometimes during the day. Then night rolls around I am wide awake
This program does help with that. You put in your zip code and it naturally dims your cpu screen when the sun goes down. Very easy to turn off if you are doing color sensitive work

Ever notice how people texting at night have that eerie blue glow?
Or wake up ready to write down the Next Great Idea, and get blinded by your computer screen?
During the day, computer screens look good—they're designed to look like the sun. But, at 9PM, 10PM, or 3AM, you probably shouldn't be looking at the sun.
f.lux f.lux fixes this: it makes the color of your computer's display adapt to the time of day, warm at night and like sunlight during the day.
It's even possible that you're staying up too late because of your computer. You could use f.lux because it makes you sleep better, or you could just use it just because it makes your computer look better.
