Has your friend done this? Those solutions are usually pretty acidic.

Plant fertilizers will do nothing for mushrooms.
Mushrooms are not plants, and they do not benefit from liquid nutrients.

Cloning a fungus is drastically different than cloning a plant

Sure, I would be more than happy to use the search function for you....
Only because it is limited to those of us who like to actually do research.....

It's much like the way we digest solid foods and excrete fertilizer from where the sun doesn't shine. This doesn't mean eating excrement is going to benefit us in any way. Ditto for mushrooms. When we read that mycelium uses nitrogen in its metabolism just as nearly all life forms, it means that it needs to be digested from solid food. Mushrooms don't absorb usable nutrients from non-organic sources. They're just not wired that way.
This silly argument has been going on for years with noobs. Ten or so years ago I offered a free microscope to the first person who could grow a real hydroponic mushroom on inert materials fed with chemical 'ferts' only. A quick search will reveal all the threads that started with everyone going to prove me wrong and do it. Not a single person ever pulled it off, so this talk about 'ferts' is bunk not supported by science or experience. RR

Feeding your mushrooms chemical fertilizer makes about as much sense as you drinking a big ol' glass of miracle grow. RR

Your aerial mycelium indicates lack of FAE.
Based on your pic, you may need to make a proper SGFC fruiting chamber.
I see no holes or perlite.

He has already had that reaction in his other thread, people told him to stick to a tek and make a proper FC. It seems that advice did not help.

Not to mention that Clonex is a sub-par (No offense intended to Clonex users) rooting stimulator to begin with: it's simply a fancily packaged gel containing indole butyric acid.
I can't imagine why anyone would think that it work with mushrooms, unless they saw a quote like Quote:
I'm just flabbergasted on how WELL it works!! the roots literally EXPLODE out of the cubes!!!
and didn't realize that those cubes were rock wool and not cubensis.

Cloning solutions are usually a mix of PLANT hormones. These are hormones that PLANTS use to stimulate root growth. Mushrooms are FUNGI, not plants the rooting hormone will do zero good.

All I am saying is use the search function before posting a question, it's the first forum rule FFS...
As you can see, this has been tried before......

I didn't read your other thread. I didn't even know it existed. I don't just sit and go through all your threads to see if something has been addressed or not.
I saw a problem and offered some advice. Please don't attack me for trying to help.

I wasn't talking about your FC, the part about "following a tek all the way" was what I was referring to.
