havent heard St Anger yet, but considering load and reload, I wasn't expecting much from it.
yeah, they got rich, they cut their hair, they had kids, they got old, and now they suck. aint it a bitch.
what really sucks is that no one really makes music that sounds like 80's thrash any more. These new generation metal bands certainly cant be trusted to carry the torch. NuMetal blows. all anger, no substance.
that fake ass bastard talkin about "let the bodies hit the floor..." ROFLMAO, I garantee you that dude has never killed anyone in his fuckin life! what a posuer!
metal these days sounds like a cross between the worst aspects of Nirvana's simplicity and the worst aspect's of Metalica's macho jock anger
to me anyway...

I agree with that post completely. The 'bodies hit the floor guy' ain't going to be killing anyone soon though. I believe he is dead.

yeah... that new metal definitely sucks some major wang.
post-grunge rock and nu-metal STILL dominate right now... i do believe that history will look at this time period as a major slump for the music scene. hopefully it'll get better before it gets worse.

what the fuck? post grunge dominates the airwaves? HOW IS THAT?!?!
yeah pretty much all the music now blows...with a few exceptions...
as far as best band ever goes, thats conditional to the individual, but to me,and alot of people who like musical sincerity goes,Nirvana was it.
Kurt was sincere to the end, thus the pistol fellatio...
BTW,Emo and post-mall punk dominate now..

Although I haven't really listened to Nirvana in years..during my phase with them, I thought they were pretty descent musicians. If I heard them again nowdays, I'd probably still think they were alright.. I really don't know who I'd consider the 'best' band ever, if any one for that matter.. I mean, there are lots of excellent musicians out there that could qualify for such a position..
