Arrested. What now?
    #19142953 - 11/15/13 09:27 PM (10 years, 3 months ago)

On here months ago asking about BPD.  Had a severe episode after stopping meds cold turkey and ended up getting arrested for making threats.  Police took a bunch of stuff of mine including my PC, and such, setting me back a ton.  Luckily, I hadn't quite started growing or anything so I didn't get hit with anymore, and they completely ignore my cactus (phew).  Currently in counseling and on meds, but still in the courts process.  Any advice from my most solid of online bros?  Also, If I end up on probation, do acid and shrooms show up?  I can avoid the rest well enough and can mushies if I MUST.  I'll check back occasionally.  Peace and love, even though my episodes take me far away from either.

My advice, from being there, is to just do what they fuckin tell you to do and follow the law here on until its all over.  Lawyers, judges and the like, as long as you go along with it all it works out better...you'll be done quicker, be scrutinized less and overall not have a totally bad experience.

Doing drugs on probation, even ones that don't show up, just lead towards a certain thought pattern that is not conductive to keeping you out of jail.

I can't speak for you, but for me, no drug was really worth violating probation and ending up in jail. Wasn't easy to go completely sober for a year, but once I got into the system I did everything they asked and didn't cause problems. Over the years I've known some trouble makers who thought they were accomplishing something by making things difficult for their PO or that they could scam the system, but in the end, the only person that loses is you.

Even if you don't get caught through a piss test, there are plenty of other ways using can catch up to you.

You need to focus on getting your shit together. Worry about drugs when you are off probation and gotten some counseling.

I doubt shrooms or LSD would show up. Certainly not on a simple 5-panel or whatever. Not sure about more advanced methods of testing...

HOWEVER if you get sold a research chemical as "LSD" and you take it, thinking it's LSD, there is a chance that the RC could trip a false positive for another drug. So were I in your shoes, and intent on using LSD in violation of probation, I'd be damn sure it was real LSD.

But let's rewind for just a second. Why did you stop taking your meds "cold turkey" in the first place? Was it so you could trip? If that's the case, I'd suggest that maybe tripping isn't the best thing in the world for you right now, anyway. You do realize, I hope, that psychedelics can be risky for anyone experiencing any kind of mental or emotional disturbance, right? Sometimes psychedelics can help people through trauma, or anxiety, or maybe even depression. But sometimes, it can exacerbate those things.

If you are on meds, and they are helping or at least suppressing some of the symptoms, maybe it's best to just take them as directed. And stopping cold turkey, regardless of the reasoning, does not suggest the greatest judgment on your part. No offense.

Just be safe. Think things through before you do them. Especially when it comes to any change with drugs / chemicals. Remember that psychedelics are tools. They may be helpful sometimes, or in some situations. But used improperly, they can be harmful. Good luck. Stick in there, and you'll get through this.

There's a possibility of a drug test regardless of offense.  I stopped cold turkey because they weren't helping my symptoms, but various overdoses and stopping cold turkey have only made everything worse and made me worse off.  I had planned on using psilocin at a therapeutic level after quitting my meds, but shit hit the fan before I had the chance.  I think in the low doses, they would be beneficial as compared to a constant onslaught of different psychiatric drugs that do nothing.  And I've never felt more at peace or calm as I was when on LSD or shrooms.  Everything is just okay, even at low doses.  My anxiety, depression and other symptoms just vanish and I feel whole without the emotional needs BPD gives me.

This is just the initiation phase of induction into the police's secret party club. Their threats and warnings of serious legal troubles are all parts of the ritual hazing. Next you will be scared shitless by being forced into an non-rejectable sentence dismissing option to rat on some coked out meth head high on PCP in their shanty shack. Half-way through your role, the actors will pretend that they just discover evidence that you're a narc and will act as though they are about to kill you repetitious stabbing in the face using needles that have been supposedly unwashed for 30 years and every junkie who was ever tricked into using them is now dead. This is where it's most important to keep your cool and not break a sweat. After this come the all-hours cop night parties where all of the week's confiscated drugs are manditorily consumed before Sunday's daybreak, otherwise 3 pets belong to officers are randomly drawn by name from a raffle bag and each one must be decapitated and then dick fucked by another 3 randomly raffle-select officers until either ejaculation is achieved or they chew and swallow a chunk of fresh human shit.

Don't be a child and get your life in order.  Drugs should be the last of your worries.

I find your two responses the answers I was looking for most.  Nature really calms me but I lack the ability to be with it very well.  Any houseplants you could suggest that do well in low light?  I have several cactuses.

Id say everyones already covered the best advice for your situation.

You made a mistake who doesn't, but it will be alot easier on you if you just finish probation without a hitch.

What medications did they put you on ?
If you absolutely have to have something to keep you mellow talk to your therapist or Dr and explain to them that you are having issues with anxiety you can probably get xanax or valium to calm your nerves. Which if prescribed won't be an issue with court ordered drug test. That will make you feel better or not care that you can't smoke or consume other drugs.

Most drops for courts are "5 panel" but I wouldn't just assume that. I would suggest asking your local peers about drug testing facilities in your area. Anything but bud won't show up in your system more than a few days so go nuts......
