Owning a restaurant/food establishment, in a decently populated area, and not having a menu online..

really?
im sorry, but if you own a business this day in age that deals with food, and you dont have a menu listed online, you better believe there is a likelyhood you are getting less business than if you did. i just called this place asking if they did, and they answered, nah, it dont matter cause all we have is pizza, pizza pops, garlic knots, calzones, etc......
i interrupted the guy, cause he was saying it in such a way as like, why do we need to have a menu.
i told him, "well, you have another pizza place down the street with a menu, listing all their items, as well as prices. but, nevermind then. ill just call them."
god knows i love their pizza, but i dont have the luxury all the time to know what i have in my pocket will buy what it is i am looking to get.
i just find it a really bad move. there are times i see something on a menu and go, "ooh, i want that" before seeing it i would have never. pretty simple. oh well.
i have no sympathy with a place in competition with another place that doesnt. grantedg is older and almost has seniority, you gotta step up to the plate and get with it. i dont know. if for no other reason, to help serve your, otherwise, loyal customers. but ill tell ya, im not so loyal when i get off the phone asking and they answer me as if they are annoyed at the question. all im thinking is, well, why dont you just get a website already. or a facebook with picture of menu. its simple. and cheap, if not free. so retarded.
they have great classic style pizza comparatively, but, their attitude sux!!!! i gather they make enough money and just dont give a shit. fair enough i guess.
kinda sux for me though and the rest of their customers....
what say you>

I hate when they have a menu, but they don't have prices :frown:

I'll skip a place that doesn't have an online menu if it's the first time going.

I say it's not worth ranting about.

Personally I never look up menus online unless I'm ordering some delivery, but I can see why it would be annoying as a consumer and kinda foolish as an owner.
