First spore print...thoughts?

Hi all,
I had a nice P. Cubensis (Amazon strain) that fruited and survived during 4 days without misting or fresh air exchange, and I decided to make a print. How does it look?
Couple questions about prints:
1. How long will it last if I just leave it in a plastic baggy? 2. What is the best material to print on? 3. Is trading prints allowed on the Shroomery? And what's the best way to go about doing it? 4. Will the fruits that grow based on this spore sample be very similar to the parent mushroom?
I am just looking into learning more about advanced Mycology. Thanks a lot everyone

i dont think this belongs to advanced mycology forum. spore printing is a basic procedure and i dont think it is advanced in any way.
i think you could find your answers yourself if u searched a bit, thats why im posting this, you should read it: http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/1437412
nevertheless ill still answer some questions:
2. something you can scrape spores off obviously and that it doesnt get destroyed (melting, burning, etc) when your sterilize it. thats why we use aluminium foil. 3. yes but only in marketplace section. you can see marketplace when you are in shroomery enough time and have enough posts. for more details do research on your own. 4. not at all. MS (multispore) produces diffrent fruits with diffrent caracteristics.

and i would fold that and put it in a ziplock.. having it in open air like your doing only allows more mold spores to land on it..

hmm, i thought that was obvious. i thought he opened up a print to show us what he made and to photo it.
if thats not the case, than u need to work in sterile area with prints, yes!

Thanks a lot. Didn't think it belonged in the "cultivation" section so I put it in here. I guess I will be seeing the marketplace pretty soon then.

This thread was moved from Advanced Mycology.
Reason: Not an advanced mycology topic. Moved to mushroom cultivation.

Thanks for the move Roger. Think I've learned enough now by doing my own research anyway!
What I am still wondering is how can I "clone" a specific desirable mushroom trait?

1. pick your mushroom
2. cut out a inner part near the stem in a SAB
3. place the piece of tissue on an agar petri dish also in your SAB.
alot more goes into that but thats the basic.. search function: clone.
