in order of priority here's the criteria for my dream job
1- needs to be able to listen to music all day long, not the radio but MY music. via speaker is prefered but I could do with headphoones
2- needs to keep my ass moving, no office work no standing in an assembly line.
3- as long as criteria 1&2 are met I could do with as little as 15$/hr and be the happiest guy on earth.
do mailman get to listen to their Ipods?
edit: let's have some convo going.... what are YOUR criteria for the ideal job?? OU

I agree that's a good point.
my current job already have criteria 2&3 more than covered, and I also havew autonomy; basicly I do whatever I want whenever I want, as long as my daily tasks are done at the end of the day, the hebodmary one at the end of the weeks and the monthly ones well at the end of the month, I get no questions asked nothing to justify. it's cool to be kind of "free".
edit: just realised I might have misunderstood what you meant by autonomy, lol. I still have it. I work all by myself.
still wish I could have my headphones on tho.

I support my wife and 2 kids, mortgage, 2 cars on a single income. Right now I make about 70k a year. Partner in a plastics company
Making enough money is a necessity when you want to provide for your family.
Its interesting work and I have a lot of freedom. Just a ton of stress when things aren't working and you are on a deadline.

these were all your call man, nobody force fed you a house and 2 cars. as for the family I don't want to get personal with you buddy but that was also a choice YOU made.
now you gotta have and keep a high paying job.
