hello all, ive visited here a few time and have had a long time interest in shrooms but haven't grown any and the extent of my hunting has been stumbling across something and wondering what it is. recently though ive been thinking about getting more involved in it so here i am.
anyhow, the family & i moved out of town this year and we basically live in the middle of a cow pasture now. one morning i found these mushrooms growing out of a bale of hay...

located s/w missouri
found them in early fall
growing in hay
i did do a spore print, looked black
stems were hollow and split when crushed, did not seem to bruise
caps were about 1/2" to 3/4" at the most, wide

Agreed. Would Coprinopsis Cinerea be found in Missouri?
