New guy, please come and laugh at my situation.

Hello everyone, my name is Tyler.
Let me start by saying I am a bit of a 'overkill' type of guy.
So, I started up a simple PF grow, 24 jars [turned out to be the wrong jar style lolol, that is why I am two weeks in at about half cakes so I hear :P]
With that being said, 23 out of 24 of them are healthy buggers being held at 79 degrees,
however, my eageristic [is that a word?] ass went out and started up the first steps to what I imagine to be an overkill along with a waste of energy and money on a BULK PF grow;
let's just say I decided to run to the store and get materials for 72 PF style cakes.
they will be getting steam-style sterilized come this weekend.
I also made the wasteful error of spending $60 on spores to get these up and running.
As I said, this is my 2nd attempt and my 1st attempt is still caking up so I can't pull from them. [be it I have yet to learn this process anyway :P]
SO! my question for you lovely folks is as followed:
What route should I take?
I read a few TEKs on birdseed bulks and what not but generally got lost in the abbreviations and talk of spawn and choir..
My goal is simply QUANITY incase it doesn't show! I am fitting to have a birthday party 3 months down the road and intend to have obnoxious amounts of the lovely Amazons for party peeps; hence the 72 jar sprout up..
Once these cakes are fully ready; should I continue with the whole roll process and drop them in a fruiting chamber as separates?
or would I be more pleased with a monoTub type gig?
EVERYTHING IS GREATLY APPREICATED !! <3
**disclaimer Clearly I am uneducated on this subject, I am a herbalist not a Mush. :P
I Look forward to you all pointing out the obvious and making me look dumb. :]
Edit: I saw this briefly after posting. http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/14995972/fpart/1/vc/1/nt/5
Something like this?
I am about to have 100 cakes.
cakes on cakes? on cakes of course.
I see once they are fully caked you are best minded to let them sit for a week;
how long can I keep them as cakes? do they ever die or whatever may happen to them or should I just make 50 of these tubs at the same damn time? LOL

I'm not entirely sure what you're asking, but eageristic is definitely not a word.
If you have a bunch of cakes make a SGFC.

Coir, not choir.
You can break up your cakes and mix them with a pasteurized coir/verm mixture.
This is called spawning to a bulk substrate.
You can also use grains, but you already have the materials for cakes, so I say use what u got.

Definitely monotubs(plural).
Spawn the cakes as soon as they hit 100% to a bulk substrate and let it colonize, then fruit it.

I suggest something like this....
http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/17325780#17325780
http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/17447797#17447797
Just substitute the grains he uses for broken up cakes.

You only need to let them sit for a week if fruiting them as cakes.
This is called the consolidation period, which is basically giving the mycellium time to digest the nutritious substrate material before fruiting.
If spawning to bulk, this extra week is not needed, nor is it recommended.
I would suggest using no less than 3 quarts(6 pints, 12 half pints) of spawn(cakes) per tub.
You want to use a 1-3 spawn to substrate ratio or higher.

NotaHacker420;
Thank you for the imformitive response, I truthfully appreciate it. These are the things that can help me grow,
I feel before I type this I should state I am h*gh. I suppose I do the same with Alchol; "First, let me say I am drunk " odd, wouldn't you say?
If there was a rep button I would use it! Good sir.
I am going to make a grow log; literally right now. I would love it if you could follow up? Assuming you aren't a extremely time oriented bloke.
edit:
ALCHOL! ALCHOL! ALCHOL!
Doh.

What would you like pictures of? My 36 S1 jars ? The store doesn't have more, I have to venture to Netherlands. Perhaps if I get my lady soon they will have more; and then, sir, pictures shall be had of 72 jars of mixedness boilSteamSterilenss is True.

I did 72 pf jars. If you do them all at once I highly suggest not buying the largest tote you can find for a shotgun fruiting chamber. It's way better to buy multiple medium sized totes. They are way easier to clean 50 - 66 quarts is pretty comfortable.

The tubs being recommended are the fruiting chamber (FC). You should read over the main site for information on how to initiate pinning (when the mycelium switches to mushroom production) with fresh air exchange (FAE).
Wishing you the best of luck!
